  • Patent number: 7306063
Abstract: A power control unit for electric vehicle which can easily detach the high voltage cables even if the motor room is deformed, for example, by head-on collision and/or rear-end collision of the vehicle, which is difficult to be deformed, which can make small, and which can avoid an influence of heat generated by the reactor is disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20060269809
Abstract: A cooling apparatus for a fuel cell vehicle for cooling a fuel cell and a drive motor that receives electric power from the fuel cell and produces motive power for traveling. The cooling apparatus is provided with a first radiator for cooling the fuel cell, a second radiator for cooling the drive motor, and a radiator air-cooling fan that is shared by the first and second radiators. The sizes of the ventilation apertures of the first radiator and second radiator are set to be essentially the same, and the heat-releasing surface areas are set so as to be different from each other. The first and second radiators are adjacent to each other in the front-rear direction of the vehicle and can be disposed in the front portion of the fuel cell vehicle. The periphery between the first radiator and the second radiator is sealed with a seal member.

  • Patent number: 6648062
Abstract: A heat sink-type cooling device is provided which can enhance the amount of heat dissipated without increasing the size of the fins, and which is miniaturized and has high cooling capacity. A heat sink-type cooling device comprises a heat sink that is provided with a passage through which coolant flows, and that removes heat from electronic devices contacting with the upper surface of the heat sink. Fin groups are provided in the passage, each of which is comprised of a plurality of fins that are disposed in parallel with the direction of the coolant flow and are aligned in the thickness direction thereof. Fins of a fin group and other fins of another fin group adjoining the fin group in the direction of the flow are placed at a distance in the thickness direction of the fins.
