  • Publication number: 20240168323
Abstract: An isolator comprises a substrate having a substrate surface; and first and second waveguides that are positioned at least partially side by side along the substrate surface. The first waveguide includes a first core, the second waveguide includes a second core, and the first and second cores are surrounded by a dielectric. The first waveguide includes first and second ends, and includes a port through which an electromagnetic wave is input and output at each of the first and second ends. The second waveguide includes a first portion extending along the first waveguide and a second portion that is not included in the first portion. The second waveguide includes a nonreciprocal member that is in contact with at least a part of the second core of the first portion, and the nonreciprocal member is in contact with at least a part of the second core of the second portion.

  • Patent number: 11921365
Abstract: An isolator includes a first core, a second core, a nonreciprocal member, and a magnetic body. The first core and the second core extend in a first direction and are positioned side by side with a cladding therebetween in a second direction that intersects the first direction. The nonreciprocal member is in contact with at least a part of the second core while being positioned side by side with the second core in the second direction. In a magnetic field generated by the magnetic body in a portion where the nonreciprocal member is positioned, a component in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction is greater than any component other than the component in the third direction.

  • Patent number: 11160494
Abstract: A physical data acquirer included in an operator device acquires at least one of health data indicating a health condition of an operator or posture data indicating a posture of the operator. A distance determiner included in an information processing apparatus determines whether a distance between the operator and a machine is below a predetermined threshold. A corrector corrects an avoidability definition value defined as a value indicating a possibility of the operator avoiding a hazard caused by the machine in accordance with at least one of the health condition of the operator indicated by the health data acquired from the operator device or the posture of the operator indicated by the posture data acquired from the operator device. A risk value calculator calculates a risk value by substituting the corrected avoidability definition value and a riskiness definition value into a calculation function for the risk value.

  • Patent number: 9320156
Abstract: A casing for housing an occupant protection device unit is composed of a metallic base with its plate surfaces facing upward and downward, respectively, and a main body that is put on and mounted on the surface of the base. A bracket formed integrally with the base is composed of a plate-like leg extending laterally from the edge in the base and a fastening member that is integrally formed at an end of the leg and is bolted to the vehicle body. The leg is composed of a through-hole vertically passing therethrough and the two weak portions. The two weak portions are composed of two branching portions separated by the through-hole in the leg. If an excessive collision load is exerted on the bracket from the vehicle body, the two weak portions are torn off, thereby allowing the occupant protection control unit to be protected.

The casing is composed of a metallic base mounted on the vehicle body with its plate surfaces facing upward and downward, respectively, and a main body that is put on and mounted on the base. The base has a lock portion that is deformable according to a deformation of the vehicle body caused by a collision load from a vehicle front. The lock portion, when deformed, causes a front portion of the base to be locked with at least a part of a front wall of the main body.
