    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a vacuum chamber comprises the steps of: preparing a first plate material to be a wall portion of the vacuum chamber more than twice a height of a wall portion of the vacuum chamber, forming joints at side portions of the first plate material, welding the joints together by electron beam welding to form a tubular wall, and dividing the tubular wall by cutting into a plurality of tubular wall parts. The tubular wall part is connected with a second material to be a bottom portion of the vacuum chamber.
