    Abstract: In order to provide a method and a device for determining a tire type of a running tire from a vehicle side, when determining the tire type, which is the type of the tire, from an output of an acceleration sensor attached to an inner surface side of a tire tread of the tire mounted on a vehicle, a feature vector is extracted from an acceleration waveform detected from the output of the acceleration sensor, and the tire type of the tire is determined, by a machine learning algorithm, from the extracted feature vector. The tire type is determined on the basis of the extracted feature vector and a determination model in which a feature vector obtained in advance for each tire type has been configured as learning data.

The functional component attachment seat (100) includes an engagement protruded part (131, 132) to be engaged with a notched part (231, 232) formed in a part of the peripheral part (221) and extended in a tire width direction or a tire circumferential direction.
