  • Patent number: 7255283
Abstract: A transmission circuit transmits a command to a contactless IC card. A receiving circuit receives a transmission signal from the IC card and an amplifying circuit in the receiving circuit amplifies the reception signal. An impedance element to which the reception signal is applied is provided at a preliminary stage of the amplifying circuit. The impedance element is controlled so that the impedance thereof is lowered, and an input signal to be input into the amplifying circuit is muted.

  • Publication number: 20050259872
Abstract: In a circumstance where an image processing apparatus is connected to and capable of communicating with a plurality of processing servers each performing a specific data processing service, what kind of processing is performed on document image data read out from a document by image reading means is determined in accordance with the document image data. Then an address of a processing server capable of performing the processing thus determined is searched. Then at least a part of the document image data or character-string image extracted therefrom is supplied to the address thus searched, and the data processing service is requested. From this address, a result of the data processing service is obtained, and the obtained result of the data processing service is outputted.

  • Publication number: 20040141203
Abstract: A printing control system of the present invention is arranged so as to control a printing process to be executed by a printer by a printer driver installed in a host computer. The host computer stores information on restricted function in HD for controlling the printing process to be executed by a computer. The printer driver includes a detecting section for detecting the information on the restricted function, and a defining section for defining as print controlling conditions, the print processing function available in the print processing based on the information on restricted function as defected by said detecting section. With this structure, it is possible to define the setting of the print controlling conditions in the printing device for each user.

  • Patent number: 6147305
Abstract: In an insulated mounting structure, a housing has a plurality of housing brackets and a platform for supporting the housing has a plurality of platform brackets. Each housing bracket is provided at a coupling portion of the housing and each having a notch. Each of the platform brackets is provided at a coupling portion of the platform corresponding to the housing bracket, each platform bracket having a screw hole for passing a mounting bolt. An insulating spacer is positioned on each of the platform brackets in a state of fitting into the notch of each of the housing brackets. The insulating spacer has a cylindrical member made of hard material inserted into the through hole of the insulating spacer to allow the mounting bolt to be tightened in a state of passing through the cylindrical member.

  • Patent number: 5926145
Abstract: A base station for a mobile communication has flat antennas and sunshades. The flat antennas and sunshades are attached to portions of outer walls of a transceiver to cover the portions. The flat antennas function as a sunshade. The flat antennas are attached to such portions of the outer walls for optimum transmission and reception of radio wave, while the sunshades are attached to another portions of the outer walls.

  • Patent number: 5889433
Abstract: While no signals are being supplied to first and second drive circuits, the drive circuits keep supplying idling currents to the bases of first and second transistors which constitute a push-pull amplifier. A first control circuit is provided in the base-emitter path of the first transistor, to control the first transistor in accordance with an input signal. A second control circuit is provided in the base-emitter path of the second transistor, to control the second transistor in accordance with an input signal. The first control circuit comprises a third transistor, a first resistor connected between the collector and base of the third transistor, a third resistor connected between the collector of the third transistor and the base of the first transistor, a constant current source connected to the base of the third transistor.

  • Patent number: 5859528
Abstract: A voltage-to-current converter comprises first to third transistors, first and second resisntaces, and a current mirror circuit. The first transistor is an emitter follower transistor, and has a base for receiving an input signal. The second transistor and the first resistor constitute a grounded-emitter amplifier circuit of the output stage. The base of the second transistor is connected to the emitter of the first transistor. The third transistor and the second resistor have the same characteristics as the second transistor and the first resistor, respectively. The base of the third transistor is connected to the emitter of the first transistor. The current mirror circuit supplies a current proportional to the collector current of the third transistor to the emitter of the first transistor.

  • Patent number: 5706965
Abstract: A housing assembly includes a high-profile basic unit and low-profile expansion unit. The basic unit has a recessed portion on its upper surface and a pair of grooves respectively extending vertically along its opposite sidewalls. A pair of connecting members equal in length to the grooves of the basic unit are normally received into these grooves. The expansion unit is formed on its bottom surface with a base portion and a pair of grooves respectively extending vertically along its opposite sidewalls. The base portion of the expansion unit is engageable into the recessed portion of the basic unit. The grooves of both basic and expansion units have an equal width. A pair of vanity members equal in length to the grooves of the expansion unit are normally fitted into these grooves.
