  • Patent number: 11035539
Abstract: A vehicular lamp is capable of projecting light in a forward direction and light in a direction different of the projection lens from the forward direction. The vehicular lamp includes: a light source (3) that emits light forward, and a projection lens (4) that projects light emitted from the light source (3) forward. The projection lens (4) includes a first lens surface (4a) located on a side facing the light source (3), and receiving light emitted from the light source (3), a second lens surface (4b) located on a side opposite to the first lens surface (4a) to output received light forward, and an output portion (14) located on an outer peripheral side surface between the first lens surface (4a) and the second lens surface (4b) and configured to output a part of light (L?) having been incident on and entered through the first lens surface (4a) in a direction different from the forward direction.

  • Patent number: 10807514
Abstract: A vehicular lamp capable of stably supporting a light source unit and adjusting an optical axis by an optical axis adjusting mechanism is provided. A holder for a light source unit is supported to be tiltable relative to the bracket, and an optical axis adjustment mechanism has three support points supporting the holder relative to the bracket, and includes a first pivot portion located at a first support point among the support points and supporting the holder so that the holder is tiltable relative to the bracket, a second pivot portion located at a second support point and supporting the holder so that the holder is tiltable relative to the bracket, and an actuator located at a third support point and adjusting a tilt of the holder relative to the bracket vertically. In the front view, the first, second, and third support points are located outside the light source unit.

  • Patent number: 9254799
Abstract: A battery, a regenerative generator, a capacitor capable of storing power generated by the regenerative generator, and a DC/DC convertor capable of allowing an output current to flow up to a specified permissible limit value are provided. The capacitor is connected to a first circuit portion connecting the regenerative generator and the DC/DC convertor. The battery is connected to a second circuit portion connecting the DC/DC convertor and electric loads. Thereby, power from the capacitor is supplied to electric loads by way of the DC/DC convertor until the output current of the DC/DC convertor reaches the specified permissible limit value, whereas power from the battery is supplied to the electric loads after the output current of the DC/DC convertor has reached the specified permissible limit value. A specified electric load is turned OFF when the power from the battery is supplied.
