  • Patent number: 10473885
Abstract: A lens barrel which reliably retracts a retractable lens group without increasing thickness in a direction of an optical axis before an adjoining lens group is housed. A first lens holding member holds a first lens. A cam cylinder drives the first holding member along the optical axis. At a shooting position, the second holding member that holds a second lens lies on an optical axis, and at a collapsed position, the second holding member retracts to a retracted position by engaging with a moving member that moves toward the image plane in response to movement of the cam cylinder toward the image plane. The cam cylinder has a cam groove, on which the first holding member moves toward a subject before the second holding member starts retracting in a process of shifting from the shooting position to the collapsed position.

  • Patent number: 9739981
Abstract: A lens barrel which is capable of increasing zoom rate and slimming down a lens barrel, and by extension an image pickup apparatus while reducing the size of the lens barrel in a radial direction without decreasing the lens diameter of a retractable lens which retracts outwardly in a radial direction when the lens barrel is collapsed. A first lens holding frame holds a first lens, and a second lens holding frame holds a second lens. The first lens holding frame follows a cam groove, which is formed in a cam cylinder, to move in a direction of an optical axis. In a shooting state, the second lens is disposed on the optical axis. In a retracted state, the second lens is disposed at a position retracted outwardly in a radial direction from the center of the optical axis and on a rear surface of the cam cylinder.

  • Patent number: 9279954
Abstract: Lens barrel capable of increasing shooting magnification while being miniaturized. A first lens group is caused to move in a direction of an optical axis by rotation of a second cam ring following rotation of a drive ring which has a focus cam groove on an inner periphery and is disposed on an outer periphery of a fixed cam ring having a cam groove and a rectilinear groove on an inner periphery. A second cam groove is disposed behind the first lens group in the direction of the optical axis. Rotation of the drive ring causes a follower of a focus group holding unit, which holds the second lens group, to follow the focus cam groove while being guided to move rectilinearly by the rectilinear groove. The follower following the focus cam groove causes the focus group holding unit to move in the direction of the optical axis.

  • Patent number: 9118837
Abstract: The imaging apparatus holds an imaging element that converts a subject image that has been formed by an imaging optical system to an electric signal by a holding member. An optical member is disposed more toward the subject side than the imaging element and is installed on the holding member. A sealing member that is formed by an elastic material encloses the light receiving surface of the imaging element as a countermeasure for dust protection. A position restricting member provided on the sealing member carries out positioning by being inserted between the outer peripheral edge portion of the optical member and the holding member in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis of the imaging optical system.

  • Patent number: 8896710
Abstract: A zoom lens barrel capable, even if it has an image shake correction mechanism and a diaphragm mechanism, of decreasing a distance between lens groups of a photographing optical system of the lens barrel, whereby the lens barrel size can be reduced and the magnification can be increased, and capable of preventing a collision between diaphragm blades of the diaphragm mechanism and the lens groups from occurring when vibration, impact, or the like is applied to the lens barrel. When apart of an image shake correction lens intrudes into an aperture of diaphragm blades, a restricted portion of a lens holding member and a restricting portion of a diaphragm restrict a maximum movement of the lens holding member in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis, thereby restricting a maximum amount of movement of the image shake correction lens in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis.
