  • Publication number: 20160248192
Abstract: A connector waterproofing structure watertightly seals a gap between openings of cavities of a pair of housings which accommodate terminals. In the structure, the pair of housings includes annular members formed at each of ends of the openings. The annular members are made of resin, protrude and surround the openings, either one of the annular members is formed into such a shape to be pressed to an inner peripheral surface or an outer peripheral surface of the opposite annular member, when the pair of housings are fitted together, and the inner peripheral surface or the outer peripheral surface are obliquely formed so that the wall thickness of the opposite annular member is gradually increased from the distal end toward the back.

  • Patent number: 9209561
Abstract: A connector structure includes a first connector and a second connector. The first connector includes a first connector housing and an engagement arm that can be elastically bent. The second connector includes a second connector housing, a slider provided on the second connector housing, a biasing portion that biases the second connector housing in a connector decoupling direction, and an arm engagement portion engaged with the engagement arm. During a coupling process of the first and second connectors, the slider is slid by a pressing force applied from the first connector against a biasing force generated by the biasing portion. The biasing portion includes an elastically-bendable arm provided on the slider, and a tapered surface provided on the second connector housing. The biasing force is generated as a reaction force of an elastically-restorative force of the elastically-bendable arm bent by the tapered surface.

  • Patent number: 9172187
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a housing body and a cover. The housing body includes a terminal accommodating hole that accommodates a terminal fitting, and a ferrite accommodating portion that accommodates a ferrite core. The cover covers the terminal fitting and the ferrite core attached to the housing body. The ferrite accommodating portion includes a ferrite accommodation chamber into which the ferrite core is inserted in a first direction perpendicular to a second direction in which the terminal fitting is inserted into the terminal accommodating hole, and protrusions provided on both inner side surfaces of the ferrite accommodation chamber facing in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction. The protrusions are engaged with concave portions formed on both side surfaces of the ferrite core to regulate movement of the ferrite core in the second direction.

  • Patent number: 8801456
Abstract: A connector includes a housing to be inserted into a receiving chamber of an initiator, a plurality of terminal receiving chambers which are opened to a distal end face of the housing in parallel with each other in a row, and terminals respectively provided with pin inserting parts into which pins in the receiving chamber are inserted, and respectively received in the terminal receiving chambers. Each of the pin inserting parts has an elastic contact piece which is elastically contacted with the pin which has been inserted into the pin inserting part thereby to hold the pin in the pin inserting part. The terminals are received in the terminal receiving chambers so that the elastic contact pieces push the pins in a direction which is the same as a direction to which the terminal receiving chambers are arranged.

  • Patent number: 7517246
Abstract: A connector includes a connector housing, a mat seal, an inner cover, and an outer cover. A connector housing includes terminal-receiving chambers for receiving female terminals. The inner cover catches the mat seal with the connector housing and attaches to the connector housing. The outer cover covers the connector housing. The inner and outer covers are connected to each other by a connecting part and attached to the connector housing. A pressing part of a jig for continuity test presses the inner cover into the connector housing. Then, the connecting part is broken and the inner cover 15 is attached to the connector housing.
