    Abstract: In the production of a non-oriented electrical steel sheet by subjecting a steel slab having a certain component composition to a hot rolling, a hot-band annealing, a cold rolling and a finish annealing, the conditions of the finish annealing are controlled such that a yield stress of the steel sheet after the finish annealing is not less than 480 MPa. Also, when a motor core is produced by using the above steel sheet, there can be provided a non-oriented electrical steel sheet capable of producing a rotor core and a stator core as the same raw material where the stator core is subjected to a stress relief annealing at a soaking temperature of 780 to 950° C. in an atmosphere having a nitrogen content of not more than 30 vol % and a dew point of not higher than ?20° C., while a motor core is produced with such a steel sheet.

The diagnosing apparatus executes a process of calculating a pressure fluctuation amount, which is a fluctuation amount of the PCV pressure in the specific period, a process of correcting the pressure fluctuation amount to a smaller value when the intake air fluctuation amount in the specific period is relatively large than when the intake air fluctuation amount is relatively small, and a process of determining, based on the corrected pressure fluctuation amount, whether there is an anomaly in the blow-by gas passage.

The device executes specifying a specific period for which the amount of fluctuations in the intake air amount per unit time is a prescribed value or more on condition that the intake air amount is a determination air amount or more, calculating the amount of fluctuations in the PCV pressure during the specific period, and determining, based on the amount of fluctuations in the PCV pressure, the presence of an abnormality in the blow-by gas passage. The device sets the determination air amount to a smaller value when the rotational speed of the crankshaft is high than when the rotational speed is low.
