  • Publication number: 20010000121
Abstract: A greensheet comprising an inorganic pigment and an inorganic matrix component is applied to a surface of a glass substrate and fired for fixing. The formed shading film has a portion whose thickness is 90% or more of the maximum thickness of the shading film within the range of 0.5 mm from an edge of the shading film. Thus, a shading film that has distinct end faces and has an excellent thickness uniformity can be formed with a good positional accuracy. Therefore, a lamp having a highly precise light distribution property can be obtained. In addition, a lamp having such a property can be obtained with a few steps and at a low cost.

  • Patent number: 6107742
Abstract: A metal halide lamp comprises a pair of electrodes and a discharge vessel filled with at least one metal halide comprising at least one rare earth metal halide, halogen in excess of the stoichiometry of the metal halide(s), mercury, and a rare gas. The amount of the mercury is between 7.7 mg/cc and 9.9 mg/cc, the excess halogen is 25-100% (in terms of atoms) of the halogen included in the metal halide(s), and the rated tube power for 200V rated tube voltage is 2000 W-3000 W.

  • Patent number: 6084352
Abstract: A lamp for a halogen lamp a single-tube, high-intensity discharge lamp, a double-tube high-intensity discharge lamp having an outer housing formed of quartz, and the like, being characterized in that a film having desirable heat conductivity and emissivity is formed on the surface of each sealing portion thereof, whereby the temperature at the distal end of the molybdenum foil in the sealing portion away from the center of the bulb can be kept at about 350.degree. C. or less while the lamp is burning.

  • Patent number: 6023129
Abstract: A single-tube high-watt metal halide lamp being characterized in that its fixture socket installation portions are formed at caps secured to a pair of sealing portions formed at both sides of a discharge tube, and the distance between the fixture socket installation portion and the sealing portion is set at 8.5 mm or less so as to dispose the molybdenum foil of the sealing portion close to a socket of a lighting fixture, whereby the lamp can reduce the temperatures at the ends of the sealing portions and can have a long service life.

  • Patent number: 5152900
Abstract: Sterilized and packaged mineral water comprises sterilized mineral water having a hardness of not less than 50 mg/l and a content of dissolved carbonic acid gas ranging from 9 to 30 mg/l (as calcium carbonate) and a number of bacteria of not more than 10.sup.-3 /ml which is obtained by sterilizing pumped-up mineral water having a hardness of not less than 50 mg/l and a content of dissolved carbonic acid gas ranging from 10 to 31 mg/l by filtering through a filter having a pore size of not more than 0.22 .mu.m. The packaged and sterilized mineral water can be effectively prepared by a method which comprises packaging pumped-up mineral water in a container without subjecting it to any heat-sterilization treatment wherein the mineral water is sterilized by passing through a filter having a pore size of not more than 0.22 .mu.m, packaged in a sterilized container under an aseptic condition of not more than Class 100 and then the container is airtight-sealed.
