  • Patent number: 11486600
Abstract: An air conditioner includes an indoor unit and an outdoor unit. The outdoor unit includes: a DC motor; an inrush-current prevention relay having a coil and a contact provided on a supply line of an AC power supply as a power supply of the outdoor unit, in which the contact is in an electrically-disconnected state when any current does not flow through the coil and is in an electrically-connected state when a current flows through the coil; a PTC connected in parallel to the contact; and a temperature protector provided on a supply line of a relay-driving power supply as a power supply of the inrush-current prevention relay, which is in an electrically-connected state when a temperature of the DC motor is lower than a predetermined temperature, but is in an electrically-disconnected state when the temperature of the DC motor reaches a predetermined temperature or higher.

  • Patent number: 8541092
Abstract: A bonded honeycomb segment assembly has plurality of honeycomb segments each including cell structure having plurality of cells as fluid passages partitioned by porous partition walls and provided in parallel with one another, and outer wall provided in the outer periphery of the cell structure. The outer wall of each of the plurality of honeycomb segments is bonded to one another via bonding layers. Relation of M1<M2 is satisfied in which M1 is compressive Young's modulus in thickness direction of the bonding layers positioned in the vicinity of gravity point in cross section of the bonded honeycomb segment assembly perpendicular to the fluid passage direction of the cells, and M2 is compressive Young's modulus in the thickness direction of the bonding layers bonding the outer wall of each of the plurality of honeycomb segments positioned in the outermost periphery of the bonded honeycomb segment assembly.

  • Patent number: 8420020
Abstract: A honeycomb filter includes a plurality of porous partition portions each forming a cell, which is open at one end and closed at the other end and serves as an exhaust gas flow path, and a trapping layer, for trapping and removing solid components contained in the exhaust gas, formed on each of the partition portions. At least part of each of the partition portions is loaded with a catalyst. The amount of catalyst a (g/L) in an upstream partition portion and the amount of catalyst b (g/L) in a downstream partition portion satisfy 1.05?a/b?3.00. A method for, limiting a/b to this range includes the entire honeycomb structure, including the partition portions, into contact with a catalyst component to form a catalyst, and subsequently bringing only an upstream region of the honeycomb structure into contact with a catalyst component to form a catalyst.
