  • Publication number: 20200202895
Abstract: Conventionally, in making a double-sided optical disc by attaching recording substrates to each other via an ultraviolet curable adhesive layer, there was a problem that the ultraviolet curable adhesive layer was slow to cure. It is thought that this is because the out gases leached from the recording substrate disturbed the cure reaction of the adhesive layer. In contrast, in the optical disc of the present disclosure, it is possible to cure the adhesive layer in a short time in attaching the recording substrates to each other via the ultraviolet curable adhesive layer, by providing a gas barrier layer at an attachment surface of a substrate to inhibit out gases from leaching from the substrate to the ultraviolet curable adhesive layer.

  • Publication number: 20060145373
Abstract: To provide a process for producing a laminated optical recording medium with improved production efficiency, with which in production of an optical recording medium by a 2P process, a resin forming an interlayer and a light transmitting stamper can easily be separated without applying any constrained load. A process for producing a laminated optical recording medium, which comprises applying a precursor of an ultraviolet-curing resin on a recording layer containing an organic dye formed on a polycarbonate substrate, disposing a polypropylene light transmitting stamper comprising a nonpolar member having a concavo-convex shape thereon, curing the ultraviolet-curing resin and then easily separating the light transmitting stamper without applying any constrained load so that the concavo-convex shape is transcribed on the resin layer.
