  • Publication number: 20230215130
Abstract: An image processing apparatus generates, from a mixed image of projection images projected from a plurality of projection devices, separated images for respective pieces of color information, on the basis of a color model. For the color model, the pieces of color information of the projection images changed according to spectral characteristics of the projection devices and an image pickup device for acquiring the captured image and an attenuation coefficient are used as parameters, and a color separation processing section generates the separated images for the respective pieces of color information on the basis of the color model, by using parameters that minimize the difference between the color information of the captured image and color information estimated by the color model. The image processing apparatus becomes able to accurately separate projection images from the captured image of the mixed image including a plurality of projection images.

  • Publication number: 20230112368
Abstract: A content display device (20) that functions as an information processing device includes: an acquisition unit (251), a determination unit (252), and a display control unit (253). The acquisition unit (251) acquires template data defining relative relationships between a first real object, a second real object, and a virtual object. The determination unit (252) determines the relative relationship between the first real object and the second real object from three-dimensional data of a real space detected by the sensor. The display control unit (253) controls the display device to arrange the virtual object on or near the first real object so as to face the second real object, based on the relative relationships and the template data.

  • Publication number: 20220414983
Abstract: An object detection unit 31 detects, for example, a moving object and a detection target object that coincides with a registered object registered in an object database from an input image. A map processing unit 32 updates information of an area corresponding to the detected object in a 3D map including a signed distance, a weight parameter, and an object ID label according to an object detection result by the object detection unit 31. For example, when the moving object is detected, the map processing unit 32 initializes information of an area corresponding to the moving object in the 3D map. The map processing unit 32 registers an object map of the detected moving object in the object database. When the detection target object is detected, the map processing unit 32 converts an object map of the registered object that coincides with the detection target object according to a posture of the detection target object and integrates the same with the 3D map.

  • Publication number: 20220392174
Abstract: A template AR content can be favorably used in an application scene different from the scene at the time of creation. An environment map of an augmented reality application scene is generated. An abstract representation of the augmented reality application scene is generated on the basis of the environment map of the augmented reality scene. The abstract representation of the augmented reality application scene is compared with an abstract representation of a template augmented reality generated on the basis of a template augmented reality environment map, and template augmented reality content is mapped to the augmented reality application scene on the basis of a result of the comparison. Thus, augmented reality content for display is generated. For example, the abstract representation of the augmented reality application scene or the abstract representation of the template augmented reality can be edited.

  • Patent number: 11483528
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an information processing apparatus and an information processing method for suppressing a decrease in the accuracy of image projection correction. By use of an image projection model using a distortion factor of an f? lens with an image height of incident light expressed by the product of a focal point distance f and an incident angle ? of the incident light, the posture of a projection section for projecting an image and the posture of an imaging section for capturing a projection plane to which the image is projected are estimated. The present disclosure may be applied, for example, to information processing apparatuses, projection apparatuses, imaging apparatuses, projection imaging apparatuses, projection imaging control apparatuses, or image projection and imaging systems.
