    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a processing method and apparatus for remote assistance; after receiving a startup instruction, a client sends a request for a verification code to a server; the server generates and returns the verification code to the client; and the client generates and stores a check code according to the verification code and a random code generated locally by the client after receiving the startup instruction. Since the check code generated by the client is generated according to the verification code randomly generated by the server and the random code randomly generated at the local, the uniqueness of the check code is ensured.
