Aggregating high-rate, large-volume data streams into low-volume output data streams can be facilitated by analyzing lossless aggregation relationships among helper views within one or more continuous query tasks and executing conventional queries to derive high-level, low-volume output data streams from low-level, high-volume input data streams.

Abstract: Methods for providing high-speed connectivity to an aircraft in flight from a satellite. Example methods include transmitting first radio frequency signals from a wide-beam antenna at the satellite at a beamwidth of at least 6 degrees orbital arc to provide a wide coverage area. The first radio frequency signals are transmitted at a first frequency of at least 10 gigahertz and at a low equivalent isotropic radiated power. The method also includes receiving second radio frequency signals from a mobile antenna located on the aircraft, wherein the second radio frequency signals are received at a second frequency of at least 13.75 gigahertz, and the second frequency is different than the first frequency.

The adjusting member relative to the touching block has a fixed position and an unfixed position. In the fixed position, the touching block is engaged with the slave shaft. In the unfixed position, the touching block is rotatable relative to the slave shaft for adjustment purposes.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide methods of in-situ vapor phase deposition of self-assembled monolayers as copper adhesion promoters and diffusion barriers. A copper region is formed in a dielectric layer. A diffusion barrier comprising a self-assembled monolayer is deposited over the copper region. A capping layer is deposited over the self-assembled monolayer. In some embodiments, the capping layer and self-assembled monolayer are deposited in the same process chamber.

Abstract: A magnetic element is disclosed that has a composite free layer with a FM1/moment diluting/FM2 configuration wherein FM1 and FM2 are magnetic layers made of one or more of Co, Fe, Ni, and B and the moment diluting layer is used to reduce the perpendicular demagnetizing field. As a result, lower resistance x area product and higher thermal stability are realized when perpendicular surface anisotropy dominates shape anisotropy to give a magnetization perpendicular to the planes of the FM1, FM2 layers. The moment diluting layer may be a non-magnetic metal like Ta or a CoFe alloy with a doped non-magnetic metal. A perpendicular Hk enhancing layer interfaces with the FM2 layer and may be an oxide to increase the perpendicular anisotropy field in the FM2 layer. A method for forming the magnetic element is also provided.

By controlling the clamping mechanism based on the calculated required time, the cycle time of clamping or unclamping operations is shortened.

In various embodiments, an apparatus may include a face detection engine configured to determine whether a face is present in one or more gray images of respective image frames generated by a depth camera, and a hand tracking engine configured to track a hand in one or more depth images generated by the depth camera. The apparatus may further include a feature extraction and gesture inference engine configured to extract features based on results of the tracking by the hand tracking engine, and infer a hand gesture based at least in part on the extracted features.
