  • Publication number: 20070001922
Abstract: A bi-frequency symmetrical patch antenna includes two bi-frequency symmetrical radiation units, each having a first band radiation section and two second band radiation sections, to radiate a feed-in signal in a selected direction. Further, the antenna has a power distribution unit, to evenly distribute the feed-in power, corresponding to the feed-in signal, to each bi-frequency symmetrical radiation unit. The power distribution unit has two side arms connecting respectively to each bi-frequency symmetrical radiation unit to increase the bandwidth range of the bi-frequency antenna.

  • Patent number: 7088019
Abstract: A MEMS (micro-electromechanical system) device having a rotor 44, a stator 43 and a shaft 27 connected to the stator 43 and around which the rotor 44 rotates. Grooves 47 are formed in a portion of the rotor 44, such that when the rotor 44 rotates an air bearing is formed for supporting the rotor 44 and maintaining its distance from the shaft 27 and stator 43. The rotor 44 is formed from joining two substrates 13, 23. One of the substrates 13 includes a surface having openings 7 including frustoconical walls, and one of the substrates 23 includes a surface having openings 15 including walls perpendicular to the surface of the substrate. The openings in the two substrates are in register with each other so that pairs of the openings form chambers 24. Each chamber 24 is provided with a shaft 27, which is positioned with a wide section of the shaft trapped in the chamber 24. The wide section of the shaft has a frustoconical surface facing the frustoconical walls of the chamber 24.

  • Publication number: 20050047041
Abstract: An over-current protection device includes a first electrode layer, a second electrode layer and a polymeric current-sensitive layer sandwiched between the first and second electrode layers. The polymeric current-sensitive layer comprises 2-4% silicate flakes by weight, which is a nano-material of a thickness approximately 1 nanometer (nm) and a diameter between 100-500 nm.

  • Publication number: 20040227611
Abstract: An over-current protection apparatus with high voltage endurance comprises a first electrode layer, a second electrode layer and a ceramic current-sensitive layer, where both the first and second electrode layers are continuous and uniform to enhance electrical and thermal conductivities thereof. The ceramic current-sensitive layer is sandwiched between the first and second electrode layers, and is essentially composed of basic matrix, dopants, conductors and sintering material. The resistance of the over-current protection apparatus with high voltage endurance is less than 10 ohms before being tripped, and the resistance-jumping ratio is less than 1.3.

  • Publication number: 20030078868
Abstract: The present invention is related to a process and equipment therein, which are a type of enterprise built on wire or wireless communication platform (such as Web site) with the enterprise value collaboratively created by investors, operators and users through the interactions between the users in the electronic communication environment built by the investors and the operators. The enterprise will make records and allocations by appropriate amount of virtual currency according to the actual contributions from the three parties. When the e-company is transformed, sold or has resolutions, the generated interests will be allocated to the three parties according to the calculation formulas or the proportion of the accumulated quantity of virtual currency or measuring units, so the investors, the operators and the users can benefit from the mechanism.

  • Patent number: 6104125
Abstract: A linear actuator includes two spaced seats connecting by a center piezoelectric member. The seats are mounted in a rail frame. Each seat has a piezoelectric member and an elastic zone for engaging or disengaging with the rail frame. Through energizing and disenergizing the center piezoelectric member alternately, the center piezoelectric member may be extended or contracted alternately, and thus moves the seats, consequently the actuator, longitudinally along the rail frame. A linear and accurate movement of the actuator thus may be achieved at micro meter level.
