Abstract: The invention discloses a roller shutter equipment, a motor and a brake device, The brake device is used for braking motor rotor. The brake device includes a permanent magnet and a magnetic conductor, one of the permanent magnet and the magnetic conductor is used for connecting the motor rotor and the other one is used for connecting the motor stator. The permanent magnet includes N magnetic poles, the magnetic conductor includes N slots, the brake device constitutes a N poles N slots structure, where N is an integer greater than 1. The brake device is applied to motor and roller shutter equipment, it realizes rapid braking, at the same time it can effectively reduce the vibration frequency of the motor and avoid the vibration frequency of the cover shell of the roller shutter equipment. It avoids resonance, ensures normal operation of the motor and reduces motor noise during operation.

Abstract: A skincare device including a spectral sensor configured to sense, at a frequency band outside of the visible spectrum, one or more characteristics of a user's skin; and a controller is provided. The controller is configured to, on the basis of the sensed one or more characteristics, identify one or more metabolic constituents of the user's skin; determine one or more skin features associated with the identified one or more constituents; and control the skincare device to perform an action associated with the determined one or more skin features. Also provided is a method and computer programme for the device.

Abstract: A skincare device including a spectral sensor configured to capture a spectral image of a subject at one or more wavelengths outside of the visible spectrum; and a controller is provided. The controller is configured to analyse the spectral image to determine a measure of cosmetic residue present on the subject; and control the skincare device to perform an action associated with the determined measure of cosmetic residue. Also provided is a method and computer programme for the device.

Abstract: An amplifier device may include an amplifier transistor and having harmonic termination circuitry and an output impedance network, such as an output T network, coupled to the output of the amplifier transistor. The amplifier device may be configured as an inverted F class amplifier having an operational frequency range with a center frequency of less than or equal to around 2.6 GHz. The harmonic termination circuitry and output impedance network may be configured to create a short circuit or near short circuit at the amplifier transistor output for third harmonic frequencies of the center frequency of the amplifier transistor and to create an open circuit or near open circuit at the amplifier transistor output for second harmonic frequencies of the center frequency. The output impedance network may be configured to increase the output impedance at the center frequency and reduce signal loss for the amplifier device.

The hairstyling device includes sensor equipment configured to generate sensor output dependent on at least one use characteristic of the hairstyling device indicative of current use of the hairstyling device. The hairstyling device includes a controller configured to receive the sensor output from the sensor equipment and process the sensor output using a classification algorithm to obtain classification data, the classification algorithm configured to determine whether the hairstyling device is being used according to a first styling behaviour or a second, different styling behaviour based on the at least one use characteristic of the hairstyling device. The controller is configured to control the hairstyling device to perform an action using the classification data.
