    Abstract: Methods for forming polyolefin nanocomposite precursor compositions are provided. In embodiments, such a method comprises mixing a polyolefin, unmodified graphite, and a peroxide crosslinker via solid-state shear pulverization under conditions to form a polyolefin nanocomposite precursor composition comprising the polyolefin; exfoliated, unmodified graphite dispersed throughout the polyolefin; and unreacted peroxide crosslinker dispersed throughout the polyolefin, wherein the polyolefin is polyethylene, a copolymer of polyethylene, or combinations thereof. Methods of forming crosslinked polyolefin nanocomposites, the polyolefin nanocomposite precursor compositions, and crosslinked polyolefin nanocomposites are also provided.

    Abstract: Pressure activated adhesive articles include a substrate and a pressure activated adhesive layer disposed on the substrate. The pressure activated adhesive layer is a crosslinked adhesive composition, with a siloxane polymer that has been crosslinked, and at least one siloxane tackifying resin. The pressure activated adhesive is non-adhesive at room temperature having a Tg of at least 50° C. as measured by DMA (Dynamic Mechanical Analysis), but upon application of pressure to the adhesive layer the adhesive layer adheres to a substrate.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a magnetic device for induction heating thereof that relates to the field of induction heating technologies. The magnetic device includes at least four coils that are even numbers, wherein the at least four coils are equally divided into two groups, and the two groups of coils are symmetrically arranged around an axis thereof; and a driving unit arranged on a symmetrical central axis of the coil and configured to drive a metal material to be heated to rotate. The present disclosure provides the even number of coils combined to form an annular coil device, so that a larger and more uniform magnetic field is generated in a center of the annular coil device, which can be more favorable for improving an eddy current heating effect thereof.

A corresponding room impulse response is obtained from a preset room impulse response database based on a current scene. Synthesis is performed based on a head-related transfer function and the room impulse response to obtain a binaural room impulse response for sense-of-orientation rendering and a binaural room impulse response for sense-of-space rendering.

The layers include a first clear coat layer made from a crosslinked polyurethane that is a reaction product of a reactive mixture including an isocyanate and a polyol containing a styrene repeat unit and a hydroxyl-containing (meth)acrylate repeat unit. The surfacing film further includes a bulk layer made from a thermoplastic polyurethane and an adhesive layer. Optionally, the surfacing film includes second clear coat layer, which can be made from a polyurethane that is at least partially crosslinked. The resulting surfacing film can display high stain resistance, high peel strength, superior scratch resistance and self-healing properties.

According to the compact bionic eye device of the present disclosure, the rotor is driven to achieve limited rotation with pitching and yawing degrees of freedom by regulating a current of the windings of four stators. By adopting a two-degree-of-freedom of electromagnetically-driven rotating mechanism which is compact in structure, the bionic eye device of the present disclosure can achieve a human eye size, and provides important foundation for practical application of bionic eyes in humanoid robots.

A long-term thermal-oxidative aging property and a weathering property of the polycarbonate composition can be significantly improved when a total compounding amount of a transition element and an alkaline earth metal, which are added in a polycarbonate composition formula, based on a total weight of the polycarbonate composition is greater than or equal to 10 ppm and less than or equal to 600 ppm and a compounding molar ratio of the transition element to the alkaline earth metal is adjusted to 0.1-1; and the polycarbonate composition is particularly suitable for occasions with relatively high requirements for an operating environment.
