    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and device of implementing compatibility with wired earphones. The method includes: judging the type of an earphone plug; and controlling, according to the type of the earphone plug, a circuit switch to conduct a circuit path corresponding to the type of the earphone plug. With the method and device provided by the embodiments of the present invention, a terminal device is compatible with earphones of two different standards.
