The flicker debugging method for a display panel includes acquiring multiple display brightness data of the display panel in a preset time period; processing the multiple display brightness data to obtain a time-domain signal of the multiple display brightness data that is continuous in a time domain; determining the flicker degree parameter of the display panel according to the change rates of the display brightness data in multiple first time periods in the time-domain signal of the multiple display brightness data, where the duration of each first time period is determined according to the visual persistence time of a human eye, and the duration of the preset time period is greater than the duration of each first time period; and determining whether to debug the display panel according to the flicker degree parameter.
