  • Patent number: 6947812
Abstract: The topology of a bus or network electric line system which is used to provide a plurality of electric consumers with low voltage from a feed block, is inputted into a computer. For several feed points, a measuring value is determined for the electric line system on the basis of at least one technical criterium and is transmitted to a user as a function of the feed point. It is assumed that the feed block is connected to the electric line system at the respective feed point.

    Assignee: Siemens Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Toni Kress, Andre Turnaus, Dieter Walter
  • Patent number: 6881903
Abstract: A multi conductor (L) arrangement for transferring energy and/or data. The system contains a plurality of conductor elements (1i) respectively comprising a conductor (1A) which is surrounded by an insulation (2) and an insulating sleeve (3), the conductor elements being mechanically connected to each other. Elements (12) for contacting the conductive elements are also provided. The system is provided with a flexible tubular or pipe-shaped support (10) made of an insulating material having a maximum thickness (D) of 1 mm, the conductive elements (1I) are arranged on the inside wall of the support, and the insulating sleeves (3) of the conductive elements have a respective thickness (d) which is at the most equal to the thickness (D) of the support. A thermoplastic elastomer is preferably used as an insulating material.

  • Patent number: 6845299
Abstract: A low-voltage power installation in which elements are to be interconnected via an energy distribution system with several sections configured by a specification of the elements and the sections. The elements and the sections are specified by access to a catalogue from which predefined specifications can be selected via an interface. The design of the sections can be checked, supplemented or corrected according to a dimensioning criterion.

  • Publication number: 20040015817
Abstract: A data structure includes global objects that can be used by a plurality of project planning tools, via which partial plans of a technical installation can be prepared using their correspondingly tool-specific design criteria. The data structure can be accessed from the project planning tools only via a management program assigned to the data structure which generates, deletes and modifies the global objects as a function of use by the project planning tools. Further, if appropriate, it generates warning messages for the project planning tools.

  • Publication number: 20030125844
Abstract: A low-voltage power installation in which elements (1-11) are to be interconnected via an energy distribution system with several sections (12-27) is configured by means of a (partial) specification of the elements (1-11) and the sections (12-27). The (elements (1-11) and the sections (12-27) are specified by access to a catalogue (51) from which predefined (partial) specifications can be selected via an interface (43). The design of the sections (12-27) can be checked, supplemented or corrected according to a dimensioning criterion.

  • Publication number: 20030065840
Abstract: The topology of a wiring system in the form of a bus or network, which is to provide a number of electrical consumers (1-5) with a low voltage from a supply module (6) is input into a computer (30). At least one individual length and one individual cross-section is allocated to each of the sections (12-27) of the wiring system, while nominal capacities are allocated to the consumers (1-5). The low voltage, nominal capacities and lengths are used in conjunction with predetermined dimensioning criteria to test whether the cross-section is adequate for each section (12-27).

  • Publication number: 20020123969
Abstract: A technical installation is planned using a computer-supported project planning tool, by interactively specifying a number of descriptions of technical elements and by describing their topology. For this purpose, a user either selects, from at least one catalogue of predefined, unchangeable standard description of elements, of which descriptions and a priority number is assigned, or specifies a different description of the project planning tool. The planned installation is assigned this priority number by the project planning tool only if such standard descriptions are specified.

  • Publication number: 20020120433
Abstract: Technical elements, their technical relationships and technical characteristics for the elements can be preset using a computer-aided configuration tool. The elements and their relationships classify a technical system. Characteristics for an element may be preset only if, in consequence, it remains compatible with another element to which it is intended to be related. Alternatively, the characteristics of the elements and a relationship which exists between them are used to check whether they are compatible with one another.
