  • Patent number: 11689426
Abstract: At least one aspect is directed to managing policies to control network assets in real-time by dynamically enforcing policies based on a variety of detected conditions including service quality, subscriber usage, network performance, bandwidth, and events. The systems and methods described herein can enforce policy actions using the PacketCable Multimedia (PCMM) protocol, which is supported by Cable Modem Termination Systems (CMTS). The present solution can monitor IPDR usage data and SNMP network utilization data to determine conditions about the network and provide PCMM instructions to a CMTS to control network resources on an individual subscriber level. By providing PCMM instructions to a CMTS, the present solution can make service changes to individual modems without modifying the modem's configuration file, requiring a modem reboot, or the installation of additional hardware in the operator's network.

  • Patent number: 11477072
Abstract: At least one aspect is directed to the monitoring and management of in-home broadband subscriber computer networks allowing for automatic network issue detection and resolution. The systems and methods described herein can monitor the network utilization, subscriber information, and subscriber devices using protocols such as TR-069 and SNMP. The systems described herein are service provider and vendor agnostic, being compliant with the TR-098 and TR-131 protocols to allow for remote management, diagnosis, and configuration of subscriber devices. The systems and methods described herein can reduce the number of home visits by service provider technicians by providing a remote network management solution capable of automatically diagnosing and resolving network issues with an issue detection model. The system can be non-intrusive and executed from a cloud computing environment to allow access to millions of devices.

  • Publication number: 20150360387
Abstract: A system for orienting strands (e.g., wood strands) includes multiple rotatable shafts that extend perpendicular to a travel direction of a mat of aligned strands. Each shaft can include axially spaced agitation members that extend radially away from the shaft, such as in a direction parallel to the travel direction. A vane set can be positioned vertically below the shafts. The vane set can include multiple partitions that define inter-partition spacings parallel to the travel direction. In an example, an inter-partition spacing of the vane set can be greater along a bottom portion of adjacent partitions than along a top portion of the same adjacent partitions. In an example, an upper edge thickness of a partition can be greater than a lower edge thickness of the same partition.

  • Publication number: 20130275890
Abstract: The display of information on a mobile device that overcomes the difficulties such as the small screen size is described. The information is displayed via widgets having multiple levels of display and interaction. At a first dashboard level the widgets may be represented by live icons that have an information display area capable of displaying a first level of information relevant to said widget while remaining in iconic form. User interaction with the widget may result in multiple levels of data being aggregated and displayed by the widget in multiple levels of screens. The widgets may also display targeted advertising, for instance, in a banner.
