Abstract: A portable workstation is provided that includes a lower work surface and an upper work surface, where the upper work surface is supported by at least one support member that maintains the upper work surface and the lower work surface in a tiered, spaced apart relationship with one another. The portable workstation includes at least one pair of fastening members positioned on the underside of the lower work surface for securing the workstation across horizontal stabilizing bars of an exercise machine. The mounting members may be adjustable straps, such as Velcro® strap, for removeably coupling the workstation to the exercise machine.

Abstract: An automated data management system that includes a database that receives and stores data related to multiple products and services sold by resellers and distributors. The database contains current and historic sales data that is cross-referenced by product identifier, reseller, and distributor. The data management system also includes a user interface that permits a user to access the data management system and generate reports that summarize and display the sales data in selected formats. A method of implementing and operating such a data management system is also disclosed.

Abstract: A carrying strap for a notebook computer includes a continuous loop strap generally formed into an elongated oval shape, which includes a generally parallel pair of generally straight portions with opposite ends connected by curved portions. The strap is folded about a transverse axis, and wrapped around a hinged bottom edge of a notebook computer. A plurality of separable fasteners are arranged in a series on an intermediate segment of each straight portion of the strap and attached to opposite sides of the computer. There are preferably four separable fasteners attached to each side of the computer. Each separable fastener is preferably comprised of a first hook-and-loop fastener detachably fastened to a second hook-and-loop fastener. The first hook-and-loop fastener is preferably fixedly attached to the strap by stitching, and the second hook-and-loop fastener is preferably fixedly attached to the computer by adhesive.
