  • Publication number: 20220118317
Abstract: A bag for storing tennis balls has an hermetic enclosure formed of flexible material, an opening larger than a tennis ball into the enclosure, the opening having a hermetic sealing zipper by which the opening may be opened and closed, and a flexible tubing from outside the enclosure through the flexible material, the flexible tubing having an open end adapted to engage an air pump, and a one-way valve adapted to admit air into the enclosure and to prevent air from exiting the enclosure through the tubing. Tennis balls placed into the bag are placed under pressure higher than the pressure inside a tennis ball by closing the opening by closing the hermetic sealing zipper, engaging an air pump to the open end of the flexible tubing, and operating the air pump until a predetermined pressure is established in the bag.

  • Publication number: 20160331063
Abstract: A convertible shoe comprising a flexible toe box, capable of being worn in closed toe mode or open toe mode. The flexible toe box covers the wearer's toes in closed toe mode. When worn in open toe mode, the flexible toe box is flattened such that the wearer steps on the top of the flexible toe box, and the wearer's toes are exposed. A toe catch button is utilized to assist in allowing the convertible shoe to be worn conveniently in open toe mode. The toe catch button attaches to at least the insole of the shoe via a toe catch shaft. When worn, the toe catch shaft goes between the wearer's first and second toes. When worn in open toe mode, the toe catch button is directly above the wearer's first and second toes to provide adequate holding of the shoe when walking.

  • Publication number: 20100319665
Abstract: This invention is to provide a fuel-air separation structure improvement for engine blow-by, which features an extra oil recirculation tube set up in between the bottom of the fuel-air separator and the engine, where the flow connection of the oil recirculation tube is controlled by a check valve, and the direction of the check valve is enabled only in a unidirectional way, pointing from the fuel-air separator to the crankcase of the engine, whereas the reverse direction is being cut off. By means of the aforementioned structure, the problems of carbon deposits in engine and exhaust pollution due to an excess of oil along with blow-by in the fuel-air separator can thus be substantially improved.

  • Publication number: 20070170953
Abstract: A system and method for recovering a high frequency component of a slew rate controlled signal propagating along a transmission line enables the high frequency component to be recovered after being lost because of slew rate control and transmission line low pass filtering effects. The system includes a wave shaping circuit for receiving and shaping the slew rate controlled signal to recover the high frequency component. The method includes receiving the slew rate controlled signal, and recovering the high frequency component by shaping the slew rate controlled signal to produce a shaped signal, where the shaped signal includes the received slew rate controlled signal and the high frequency component.

  • Publication number: 20070085676
Abstract: Security system communication with a user device via electronic means, including via e-mail transmitted over the internet are provided. A security system interface receives a signal indicating an occurrence of an event, such as a fault or alarm condition, in a zone of the security system; a memory stores a user e-mail address associated with the security system and the address of a server for providing internet service, such as an ISP server; and an e-mail generator transmits to the server an e-mail message based on the event. The communication node in such a system may be integrated with the control panel of the security system. The e-mail generator can transmit the e-mail using SMTP or other TCP/IP. An attachment of the e-mail, such as a picture or an audio or video file relevant to the event or the zone may be transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20060028334
Abstract: A security system that secures a building includes a weather detector for detecting weather conditions, such as thunder or high winds, which are likely to cause false alarms in sensors such as an acoustic glass break sensor, shock sensor and vibration sensor. The weather detector may include a sensing component that senses atmospheric conditions external to the building, such as temperature, pressure, wind speed and/or lightning. The weather detector may also include a component for receiving a data communication, such as from a radio, Internet, or telephone link, indicating that the weather condition is present in a vicinity of the building. The security system operates in a bad weather mode by requiring corroboration of intrusion detection signals from the sensors that can cause false alarms.

  • Publication number: 20050226338
Abstract: Image data from a video surveillance camera is moved from a volatile memory such as a circular buffer to a non-volatile memory such as a flash memory when a loss of signal from the camera is detected. The loss of signal may occur when an intruder disables the system such as by cutting a cable, by vandalizing the camera so that it no longer can transmit image data, or removing the camera altogether. The loss of signal is detected by determining whether a signal portion such as a start of active video code, end of active video code, or horizontal or vertical blanking interval, is present on a communication path of the camera. The system ensures that an image of the intruder is captured and stored before the system is disabled. Analog signals from the camera may be digitized for storage.
