    Abstract: A lock in combination with a name card case to be used for securing and providing an identification of an item such as a suitcase. When the lock is at a securing state, a latch firmly engages a securing hook to be looped to the item. When the lock is at a releasing state, the latch disengages with the securing hook to release the item. Moreover, during the releasing state, the lock can be slid toward a side of the name card case until the lock and the name card case are separated. At this time, a name card can be received in the name card case and the lock can be slid back on the name card case again. Therefore, when the lock is used to the secure the item, the name card can provide the identification of the item.

    Abstract: A lock for locking electronic equipment such as computers and their peripheral devices, is composed of a lock assembly and a cable securely connected with the lock assembly, wherein the lock assembly includes a body with two movable retaining members provided therein, a lock core received in a back cover which is securely combined with the body, and two fastening rods respectively running through the lock assembly corresponding to two screw holes defined at opposite sides of a standard port of equipment. When the fastening rods are respectively engaged into the screw holes of the port, a user can easily lock the lock assembly with a key to remove the retaining members outwards to retain the fastening rods fixedly, whereby the lock is locked with the port.

    Abstract: A lock with a fastening cable includes a locking unit with a cable having a passage defined in the locking unit and a key operated lock received in the passage. The key operated lock includes a circular transmission block with the key operated lock in contact with one side and two stubs extending from the other side. These two stubs are on opposite ends of a diameter of a face of the transmission block. A latch connects to the key operated lock. The latch includes a first locking plate and a second locking plate abutting each other. The first locking plate includes a first end having a first bracket extending out therefrom and is moved transversely by the stub, and a second end having a first engagement hook extending out therefrom. The first engagement hook and the first locking plate are in the same plane. The second locking plate includes a first end having a second bracket extending out therefrom and moved transversely by the stub, and a second end having a second engagement hook extending out therefrom.
