  • Publication number: 20200062162
Abstract: A device that attaches to the trailer hitch of a vehicle or rack of an all-terrain vehicle, ATV, to lift and transport large game. This device uses a stationary main lift frame assembly attached to a trailer hitch mounting bracket or ATV mounting rack bracket. The assembly has a custom two-reel winch with a fixed reel and a longitudinally adjustable reel to provide two-point lifting of the animal. This arrangement provides ease of attaching and stability in carrying the load.

  • Patent number: 7252493
Abstract: A temperature control system for use in a fiber extrusion process includes a number of metering pump assemblies including inlets to receive at least two molten polymer streams from a supply source that is connectable to the system. A pump block disposed proximate the metering pump assemblies includes a plurality of flow paths extending within the pump block, where the flow paths are aligned to receive molten polymer flowing from outlets of the metering pump assemblies and to deliver the molten polymer to a spinneret. The flow paths are arranged in flow path sets within the pump block, and each flow path set includes at least one flow path and is spaced a selected distance from the other flow path sets within the pump block so as to facilitate independent control of the temperature of a molten polymer flowing through each flow path set.

  • Publication number: 20070012345
Abstract: A lower limb, e.g. bent knee, supporting device includes a lower limb supporting brace including at an upper extreme thereof and aligned with a long axis thereof a cushioned limb support member; an elongate angled stabilizing handle or member for stabilizing the brace, the handle extending upwardly and outwardly from the brace at an angle thereto, the handle being securely grippable by a user without use of the armpit; the device including below the stabilizing member and brace at a lower extreme thereof a tip configured to frictionally engage an ambulatory surface. The device includes one or more grippable members aligned axially or transversely along an upper gripping region of the handle. The handle extends to a height intermediate the user's waist and armpit so that the upper grip can be squeezed between the user's arm and torso, thus freeing both hands for other uses.

  • Publication number: 20050178416
Abstract: A lower limb, e.g. bent knee, supporting device includes a lower limb supporting brace including at an upper extreme thereof and aligned with a long axis thereof a cushioned limb support member; an elongate vertical stabilizing handle or member for stabilizing the brace, the handle being securely grippable by a user without use of the armpit; the brace including at a lower extreme a tip configured to frictionally engage an ambulatory surface; the brace and the handle being affixed to one another along parallel extents thereof. The device includes one or more grippable collars aligned along a long vertical axis of the handle. The handle extends to a height intermediate the user's waist and armpit so that the upper handle can be squeezed between the user's arm and torso, thus freeing both hands for other uses. The height of the limb support member is adjustable so that its concave upper surface can cup a bent knee of a user with the lower leg extending behind.

  • Patent number: 6861142
Abstract: The dissolution of dissolvable components in plural component polymer fibers is achieved by providing a polymer fiber including at least two sections, where at least one fiber section includes a dissolvable component. The rate at which at least part of the fiber dissolves is controlled by at least one of a fiber section having a non-round cross-sectional geometry, and at least two fiber sections including two different dissolvable components. In an exemplary embodiment, island-in-the-sea fibers are formed with non-round and elongated cross-sectional geometries. In another embodiment, sheath-core fibers are formed in which the sheath and core include different dissolvable components.
