  • Patent number: 5478071
Abstract: The practice aid includes an annulus for resting on the margin of and about a golf hole. The annulus includes a central opening and one or more downward projections for disposition within the golf hole to prevent lateral displacement of the annulus from the hole. Visual indicia identifying one or more target locations are provided on the upper planar surface of the annulus at spaced locations thereabout. The visual indicia may comprise differently colored segments to facilitate alignment of the putt and enable the golfer to putt the golf ball through tile central opening of the annulus into the golf hole. The practice aid enables the golfer during actual golf play to visualize a target area about the hole and thus focus and concentrate on putting the ball to that target location.
