  • Patent number: 11866896
Abstract: A device for picking up animal waste droppings or feces, the device comprises an elongated member with a handle with electronic controls on its upper connected with an elongated member to two sets of two clamps, one a set of outer clamps and one a set of inner clamps each set operated by a clamping mechanism attached to the clamp, with the two clamping mechanisms operating either simultaneously or independently, to pick up or dispose of a disposable coarse fibrous tent like material which is place over the animal waste.

  • Publication number: 20130088026
Abstract: An animal waste pickup device that has a handle, an elongate member and an upper pair of operating arms and a lower pair of operating arms located at the lower end of the elongate member. A fibrous material attaches to spiked material underlying the upper pair of arms. The upper arms are hingedly raised and lowered where the hinge connection is at the bottom of the elongate member. The lower pair of arms is configured to clamp together along a generally central point and the lower pair of arms further has spaced-apart apertures that are aligned to correspond with the spiked material such that the spiked material protrudes through the apertures a sufficient distance to engage the fibrous material. The lower pair of arms is operable using a grip trigger at the handle area that is in mechanical communication with the lower arms.

  • Publication number: 20100084881
Abstract: An animal waste pick-up device is disclosed which consists of two sliding sections which operate independently of each other. The first section is a sliding sleeve having two opposed flaps at one end thereof. The two opposed flaps will move into an open or closed position by operation of an operating knob on the outside of a housing. A second sliding sleeve is located within the first sliding sleeve and has at one end thereof two opposed and lateral catches. The lateral catches move to capture a waste pick-up box. The box consists of two opposed triangular sections that are used to pick up the animal waste. The opening and closing of the pick-up box is controlled by the movement of the two flaps which in turn are operated by the first sliding sleeve.

  • Publication number: 20080042456
Abstract: A pickup device is used for picking up droppings from a pet that are left on the ground. The device consists of a handle having an upper and a lower end. At the upper end are located triggers to operate elements at the lower end. The elements at the lower end consist of a pair of outer clam shells which are opened or closed from the triggers at the upper end. The outer clam shells have located therein a second pair of claim shells having central openings therein. The second pair of clam shells are always biased into an open position and are operated in conjunction with the operation of the first or outer clam shells. The second pair is rotated within the first pair by an electric motor to twist a paper bag into a pile once the pet waste has been trapped therein.

  • Patent number: 6305322
Abstract: The invention discloses a device for picking up animal waste. The device is an elongated outer tubular handle having an interior manipulator therein. At end of the outer handle there is located a hollow tubular casing. At an outer end of the inner manipulator is located a handle and at the other end there is separably located a claw or a cross made of stiff but flexible material. The claw has four arms. The circumference of the claw is substantially larger than an inner diameter of the hollow tubular casing. Thereby, when the claw is pulled inwardly of the hollow tubular casing, the claws will collapse within the hollow tubular casing. Thereby, any animal waste can by picked up and deposited in a convenient location. Before picking up the waste, a piece of paper or bag is placed within the claw. This results in that no waste is exposed to any elements of the pick-up device including the arms of the claw.
