  • Publication number: 20190186460
Abstract: A rotating apparatus comprising a base, at least two elongate retaining arms extending a length between first and second ends, each of the at least two retaining arms rotatably supported by the base along a horizontal axis proximate to the second end and a slot extending through each of the at least two retaining arms from the first end of each of the at least two retaining arms. The apparatus further comprises a ball retained within the slot, and a concave ball guide secured to the base wherein the concave ball guide is passed through the slot as the at least two retaining arms are moved therepast.

  • Publication number: 20080289454
Abstract: A wrench capable of engaging a workpiece from the side or top. When the workpiece is engaged on the side, a movable jaw opens when a slight pressure is applied against a flat or a point of the nut or bolt. After the jaws of the wrench have pushed past the workpiece, a pin and spring mechanically return the moveable jaw to its closed position. In its closed position, the workpiece is retained by the jaws in the proper seat position. When tightening or loosening the workpiece, the direction of the pull is towards the fixed jaw. Disengagement between pulls is accomplished by turning in the opposite direction of pull. The wrench rides over the points of the workpiece and automatically reseats itself.

  • Publication number: 20060201283
Abstract: The present invention relates to an open-end wrench, and more particularly to an open-end wrench structural arrangement which represents an improvement in grasping and turning normal or newly-made bolts and nuts of different sizes and/or specifications as well as worn-out bolts and nuts of different sizes and/or specifications.

  • Publication number: 20060156718
Abstract: The frame structure contains a main shaft, which turns a rotor hence turning four main bearings by using the force of buoyancy. On the lower section of the frame there is a ball-limiting guide, which is located on the right side of the main shaft. The distance is far enough away so that airtight balls can rotate freely. When the ball positions are located on the longest positions of the arms, away from ball positions on the shortest positions of the arms buoyancy forces ball positions towards Bottom Dead Centre (BDC). At this time a circular motion is created around the main shaft thus increasing power from buoyancy.

  • Publication number: 20060154557
Abstract: The frame structure contains a main shaft, which turns a rotor hence turning four main bearings by using the force of gravity. On the lower section of the frame there is a ball limiting guide which is located on the right side of the main shaft. The distance is far enough away so that steel balls can rotate freely. When the steel ball positions are located on the longest positions of the arms, away from steel ball positions on the shortest positions of the arms gravity forces steel ball positions towards Body Dead Centre. At this time a circular motion is created around the main shaft thus increasing power from gravity.

  • Patent number: 5449015
Abstract: A shock-activated shut-off valve including a housing having an upper chamber and a lower chamber separated by a flap-gate pivotally connected to the housing, the lower chamber comprising an inlet orifice, and outlet orifice and a flap-gate stop means; a weight; a shock-actuated retainer defining a weight-passable opening and a latching means comprising a receptacle arm pivotally connected to a counter-weight and a flap-gate actuator, wherein, in one position, the counter-weight maintains the receptacle arm and the flap-gate in a horizontal position and the weight rests on the retainer and wherein, in another position, upon shock-actuation, the weight disassociates from the retainer and, subject to vertical acceleration, engages the receptacle arm, exerting a force which exacts pivotal movement of the counterweight to allow release of the flap-gate from a horizontal position to a position engaging the flap-dash gate stop means, thereby closing the inlet orifice from the outlet orifice.

  • Patent number: 5160638
Abstract: A device for cleaning an oil spill from a water surface comprises an inclined rotatably mounted helical screw having a lower water-engaging end and an upper outlet end, a screw casing encasing said screw for rotatably supporting the screw, the screw casing closely encasing the screw so as to form a rotating fluid seal between the casing and the rotatably mounted screw, the screw casing having a lower opening for partial submersion in the water and an upper outlet for the evacuation of the oil from the screw into a storage reservoir. The helical vane of the screw has oil separating perforations therein for retaining the oil on the upper surface of the vane while allowing the water to flow therethrough.
