    Abstract: A trim panel formed from natural fibers and a protective material, and a method of forming the trim panel. The natural fibers are environmentally-friendly and the protective material may be sufficiently adhered to the natural fibers without the use of hot melts or adhesives. The protective material is configured to be permeable to gasses and water vapor during application and once applied impermeable to UV light and liquids such as water and soda.
