    Abstract: Some of the embodiments of the present disclosure provide a system comprising a memory configured to operate in one of a plurality of states; a phase locked loop (PLL) configured to (i) receive a first clock signal, and (ii) based on the first clock signal and a state at which the memory operates, selectively generate a second clock signal; and a clock selection module configured to, based on the state at which the memory operates, selectively provide one of (i) the first clock signal and (ii) the second clock signal to the memory.
