  • Publication number: 20080004958
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for measuring online advertising. A system for verifying the accuracy of measured ad impressions is utilized by comparing traditional web access logs. Specifically, comparisons of ad impression counts are made of the Client Side Counting (“CSC”) advertisement infrastructure with the traditional access log counting.

  • Patent number: 4079083
Abstract: An orbital type engine having a number of vanes supported for reciprocatory movement in the housing of the engine and supported in slots in the peripheral wall of the engine and the opposed end walls. The bearing areas between the vane and the respective slots in the housing comprising three independent areas arranged in a triangular formation one located in the slot in the peripheral wall of the engine and the other two in the slots in the respective end walls.

  • Patent number: 4037997
Abstract: An orbital engine having a piston member mounted eccentrically upon a shaft journalled in a housing so that the piston member orbits within the housing as the shaft rotates. A control member supported in the housing to describe an orbital path corresponding to the desired path of the piston member and restrained to move in this path by a plurality of secondary cranks of the same eccentricity as the shaft. The control member being connected to the piston member by a tongue and slot connection which will not permit relative movement between the piston member and the stabilizer plate in the circumferential direction, but will permit relative movement in the axial and radial direction.

  • Patent number: 3938916
Abstract: A vane type engine having a housing, a shaft journalled therein with a piston member mounted on the shaft and a plurality of vanes forming with the housing a piston member a plurality of chambers. A seal member supported in each opposite axial end face of the piston member and engaging the end walls of the housing, an insert supported in each vane and extending therethrough to engage at one end the seal member in the piston member and at the other end the base of the slot in which the vane is disposed, the fit between the insert and the vane extension being such as to prevent the passage of gas between the insert and the vane extension but to permit movement therebetween in the axial direction resulting from different expansion of the piston, vane and housing during operation.

  • Patent number: RE29230
Abstract: A rotary vanes type motor having a plurality of vane mounted for reciprocal movement in a housing in a radial direction with respect to a shaft journalled in the housing. A piston member is eccentrically mounted on the shaft in the housing so that the piston member will orbit without rotation in the housing as the shaft rotates. The vanes are connected to the piston member so as to reciprocate when the piston member orbits. The housing, vanes, and piston member defining a plurality of chambers to which a working fluid may be admitted in sequence to induce orbiting of the piston member and resulting rotation of the shaft.
