  • Publication number: 20230081784
Abstract: A resistor arrangement for measuring current strength having connection elements and a resistor element between the connection elements. The connection elements and the resistor element are arranged in a plane and in a row such that the arrangement is strip-shaped and has its smallest spatial extent perpendicular to the current direction. The resistor element has two contact sides and the connection elements each have a contact face connected to the contact sides. When current flows through the arrangement, current flow lines are formed which are deflected at at least one of the contact sides by an angle of at least 5° at the transition from the connection element to the resistor element.

  • Publication number: 20230003766
Abstract: A method for producing a device for measuring current strengths. The method includes providing a resistor arrangement with two connection elements and a resistor element arranged between the connection elements, molding a contact element from the material of the connection element or from the material of the resistor element. The contact element has an end face remote from the resistor arrangement and a cavity open on the end face. The method further includes providing a circuit board with a through-bore on whose inner surface electrically conductive material is present, positioning the circuit board on the resistor arrangement such that the contact element projects into the through-bore, and expanding the contact element in the radial direction using an expansion element inserted into the cavity of the contact element to establish an electrically conductive connection between the contact element and the electrically conductive material on the inner surface of the through-bore.

  • Patent number: 11349245
Abstract: An arrangement of components for transferring electric current from a current-feeding component to a current-discharging component, including a first component, which feeds current to the arrangement or discharges current from the arrangement. The first component includes a first metallic material and, on at least one surface, has at least one spring lamella composed of the first metallic material and machined out of the first metallic material at the surface. The lamella is machined out of the first metallic material at the surface of the first component such that it is connected monolithically to the first component in a connecting region and, starting therefrom extends as far as a free end and, when deflected out of a rest position toward the surface of the first component, exerts a spring force directed away from the surface. A second component is in immediate contact with the lamella of the first component.

  • Publication number: 20130108190
Abstract: A device for holding open the mouth of a drawstring trash bag is disclosed. The device rests on top of the partially closed mouth of the trash bag and is secured in place by the bag's drawstrings. Ideally, the bag will be hanging to create the necessary tension in the drawstrings to keep the device in place. The device comprises a rigid plate with a hole, and notches for receiving the drawstrings. The hole is sized to receive disposable beverage cans or other similar waste. A portion of the upper surface of the plate may be dedicated to the display of promotional indicia. A holder for hanging the trash bag by its drawstrings is also disclosed. The holder may be mounted to the rear bumper of an automobile or other similar location.

  • Patent number: 7694447
Abstract: A storage device for storing rolled documents includes a tube pivotally mounted to a housing and advanceable between retracted and extended positions relative to a roof of the housing. The roof covers an open end of the tube in the retracted position. In the extended position, the open end of the tube is advanced away from the roof to permit rolled construction drawings to be inserted into and removed from the tube. A floor extends across at least a portion of the tube to prevent the rolled documents from falling out of the tube. Clamps mounted on the housing enable mounting of the storage device on a post, such as a T-post. The storage device may include a display panel having a pocket formed by a sheet of transparent flexible plastic into which a building permit may be positioned and displayed.

  • Publication number: 20090243452
Abstract: An appliance with a simple mechanism for mounting a decorative panel to an exterior surface. The mechanism simplifies the installation process associated with mounting the panel by removing the need for precise tolerances. The mechanism includes a plurality of adjustable mounting brackets and corresponding channel portions which permit an installer to adjust the panel with three degrees of freedom to align it relative to the surroundings, and subsequently secure the panel in place. The mechanism allows translation in substantially horizontal and vertical directions as well as rotation in a plane substantially parallel to the exterior surface of the appliance. In a preferred embodiment the mechanism also is also capable of supporting the panel while the adjustments are being performed.

  • Patent number: 7559572
Abstract: A safety device for a motor vehicle comprising an inflatable curtain having an upper edge and a lower edge. The upper edge is to be mounted within the interior of a motor vehicle. A first portion of an elongate, flexible element such as a cord extends from a mounting point on the lower edge over a pulley to a sliding ring. A second portion of the cord extends from the mounting point through a guide round a lower pulley through the ring to a lower anchoring point. As the inflatable element inflates so the mounting point on the lower edge moves downwardly, and a triangle of tension is created between the upper pulley, the lower pulley and the mounting point.

  • Patent number: 6575827
Abstract: A temporary vent opening cover is disclosed which is securable over a vent opening in a floor or other surface during building construction to prevent debris from entering the vent opening and accumulating in duct work associated therewith. The cover includes a generally flat cover plate which is sized and shaped to cover the vent opening. The cover plate is spaced outwardly from the surface when the vent opening cover is secured over the vent opening.
