  • Publication number: 20220054771
Abstract: A medical system includes a handle having (1) a handle chamber including an outlet and (2) a barrel extending into the handle chamber and defining a lumen having a longitudinal axis, and a spindle movably disposed within the lumen of the barrel, the spindle including a plurality of spindle enclosures, and wherein the spindle is configured to move between a first configuration, in which at least a portion of each of the plurality of spindle enclosures is positioned within a first portion of the lumen within the handle chamber, and a second configuration, in which at least the portion of each of the plurality of spindle enclosures is positioned in a second portion of the lumen outside the handle chamber.

  • Publication number: 20210299365
Abstract: A medical device that includes a handle for conveying an agent having particles and a receiver having a first lumen defined by a first end and a second end. The receiver having an axis extending between the first end and the second end. The first end configured to receive the particles from the handle, and the second end in fluid communication with a second lumen having a cross-sectional dimension smaller than a cross-sectional dimension of the first lumen. Each of the cross-sectional dimensions of the first lumen and the second lumen is measured transverse to the axis. The second end is configured to receive the particles from the first end of the receiver. The second lumen is configured to control delivery of the agent to a delivery conduit in fluid communication with the second lumen based on sizes of the particles.

  • Publication number: 20210236723
Abstract: A medical device that comprises an enclosure defining a cavity for containing an agent, a lumen for receiving a pressurized fluid, a channel between the cavity and the lumen, and a barrier positioned in the channel and defining a space, wherein in a first position of the barrier, the space is in fluid communication with the cavity to receive the agent from the cavity, and wherein the barrier is configured to rotate from the first position to a second position in which the space is in fluid communication with the lumen to deliver the agent from the space to the lumen.
