  • Publication number: 20240098456
Abstract: Techniques for calculating a location of a position consumer device is disclosed. In one example, a network server may create a fingerprint map from reference data points. Each of the reference data points may include a recorded geo-location of a position source device and signal measurements taken at that recorded geo-location. By initially estimating an initial position of the position consumer device, the network server may apply one or more threshold values to filter reference data points—candidates for interpolation. The network server may then perform an interpolation on one or more pairs of reference data points to find a pair of reference data points that is collinear with the estimated position of the position consumer device. The location of the position consumer device may then be calculated based upon geo-locations of position source devices that are associated with collinear reference data points.

  • Publication number: 20140345485
Abstract: Disclosed is a robust selective fire switch. One exemplary selective fire switch includes a switch housing, a plunger having a head and a body extending longitudinally from the head, the head extending at least partially into an opening defined in the switch housing, a first post and a second post arranged on opposing sides of the switch housing, and a filament wire coupled to and extending between both the first and second posts, the filament wire being in contact with the plunger and thereby securing the plunger in a seated configuration within the switch housing.

  • Publication number: 20100184159
Abstract: The current teachings are directed to compositions, methods, and kits for selectively amplifying and for detecting target sequences. In some embodiments, a circularizable probe and/or a probe pair are disclosed for selectively amplifying target sequences. Methods for selectively amplifying target sequences are also disclosed, as are methods for detecting selectively amplified target sequences. Certain embodiments of the disclosed methods comprise a circularizable probe, a probe pair, comprising a first probe and a second probe, or both. In certain embodiments, a multiplicity of different circularizable probes, a multiplicity of different probe sets, or a multiplicity of different circularizable probes and a multiplicity of different probe sets are provided to selectively amplify or to detect a multiplicity of different target sequences, typically in a multiplex reaction.
