    Abstract: In particular embodiments, a computing system may access a particular image frame and corresponding depth information of a dynamic scene. The depth information is used to generate a point cloud of the particular image frame. The system may generate a first latent representation based on the point cloud. The system may access a sequence of image frames of the dynamic scene and a set of key frames. The system may generate, using a temporal transformer, a second latent representation based on tracking and combining temporal relationship between the sequence of image frames and the set of key frames. The system may access camera parameters for rendering the one or more objects from a desired novel viewpoint and generate a third latent representation. The system may train an improved neural radiance fields (NeRF) based model for free-viewpoint rendering of the dynamic scene based on the first, second, and third latent representations.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, one or more computing systems may receive an image comprising pixels corresponding to a person captured by a camera from a camera viewpoint. The one or more computing systems may generate, based on the image, (1) a first body-surface mapping associated with the camera viewpoint, the first body-surface mapping indicates, for each of the pixels corresponding to the person, a corresponding location on a surface of a human body, and (2) a second body-surface mapping associated with a first virtual viewpoint different from the camera viewpoint. The one or more computing systems may generate a partial texture of the person by warping the pixels corresponding to the person based on the first body-surface mapping, the partial texture having incomplete texel information. The one or more computing systems may generate, based on the partial texture, a full texture of the person, the full texture having complete texel information.

For example, the system may access a data representation of a body pose and generate, based on the data representation, a 3D clothing model for the body pose using a statistical model. The system may generate a first normal map, such as a low-resolution normal map, based on the 3D clothing model. The system may generate a second normal map, such as a high-resolution normal map, by processing the first normal map using a machine-learning model that is trained to generate normal maps with higher levels of detail from normal maps with relatively lower levels of detail. The system may then render clothing for the body pose based on the 3D clothing model and the second normal map.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are human trophoblast stem (hTS) cells, differentiated cells thereof, derivatives thereof such as cellular mass, and uses thereof. The isolation of hTS cells can express FGF4, FGFR-2, Oct4, Thy-1, and stage-specific embryonic antigens distributed in different compartments of the cell. The hTS cells are able to derive into specific cell phenotypes of the three primitive embryonic layers, produce chimeric reactions in mice, and retain a normal karyotype and telomere length. In the hTS cells, Oct4 and fgfr-2 expressions can be knockdown by bFGF. The hTS cells could apply to human cell differentiation and for gene and cell-based therapies.
