    Abstract: An apparatus for eliminating a noise from a video signal, employs a first-order type noise eliminating section, for example, a limiter or the like. Such noise eliminating section, by utilizing line correlation, eliminates noise from the video signal in a high frequency region where the signal component level is large, for example, at the portion of a video signal corresponding to an edge portion of the display or picture.
