Publication number: 20090107658Abstract: A brazing method is provided for brazing a metallic material for brazing to another metallic material. The metallic material for brazing includes a base material portion made of copper or a copper alloy containing chrome by a predetermined amount, and a metallic film portion made of a material having a melting point lower than a heating temperature in brazing, and provided on the surface of the base material portion. The brazing method includes a step of assembling the metallic material for brazing and the another metallic material to form an assembly, a step of heating and brazing the assembly, in which the metallic film portion is melted to diffuse chrome into a surface of the metallic material for brazing, and a step of forming a chrome oxide film by using the chrome diffused into the surface of the metallic material for brazing in atmosphere after the brazing step.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 29, 2008Publication date: April 30, 2009Applicants: DENSO CORPORATION, Luvata Sweden ABInventors: Shin Takewaka, Sumio Susa, Tooru Ikeda, Shoei Teshima, Anders Falkeno, Ulrik Palmqvist, Leif Tapper

Patent number: 5762672Abstract: In a quartz glass crucible obtained by heating and fusing a rotating layer (3) charged with a powder of silicon dioxide, impurity elements are controlled so that copper, chromium, and nickel each amount to 0.5 ppb or less, iron amounts to 120 ppb or less, and sodium amounts to 20 ppb or less. The silicon dioxide powder is supplied to a rotatable mold (1) having an open top, thereby forming a layer (3) charged with silicon dioxide along the inner peripheral wall of the mold. The layer (3) is internally heated and fused while covering the open top with a lid (5) having two or more holes (6,7), and the mold (1) is ventilated to discharge the high temperature gases through the holes (6,7).Type: GrantFiled: July 11, 1995Date of Patent: June 9, 1998Assignees: Shin-Etsu Quartz Products, Ltd., Heraeus Quarzglas GmbHInventors: Tooru Ikeda, Kazuo Asajima, Hiroshi Kimura, Hiroyuki Watanabe

Patent number: 5561299Abstract: An X-Y stage includes a base having a first guide rail extending in a first direction, a stage having a second guide rail extending in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, where the stage is movable with respect to the base in mutually perpendicular directions X and Y, and a slider arranged between the base and the stage and having a plurality of first wheels provided with respect to the first guide rail and rotatable under guidance of the first guide rail and a plurality of second wheels provided with respect to the second guide rail and rotatable under guidance of the second guide rail. The first wheels block a movement of the slider in the second direction by engaging the first guide rail when the stage moves in the second direction, and the second wheels block a movement of the slider in the first direction by engaging the second guide rail when the stage moves in the first direction. In addition, the slider is arranged in at least three locations.Type: GrantFiled: July 25, 1995Date of Patent: October 1, 1996Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Kazushi Ishida, Kouji Takahata, Tooru Ikeda

Patent number: 5490070Abstract: A wheel speed detecting device for a vehicle having wheel speed detectors for detecting left and right wheel speeds, respectively; a turning state detector for detecting the turning state of the vehicle; and a correcting and calculating device for correcting the wheel speeds on the basis of an output from the turning state detector and for calculating a value representative of the left and right wheel speeds on the basis of the corrected wheel speeds. Thus, an error of wheel speeds detected during turning of the vehicle can be compensated for, thereby determining a correct wheel speed.Type: GrantFiled: February 1, 1993Date of Patent: February 6, 1996Assignee: Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Hironobu Kiryu, Tooru Ikeda, Takashi Nishihara, Osamu Yamamoto, Shuji Shiraishi, Ryoji Mori

Patent number: 5446657Abstract: A steering stability control system for a vehicle includes a turning state judging device for judging turning state of the vehicle to output an oversteering signal or an understeering signal, and a steering stability control device for controlling an output torque from an engine on the basis of an output from the turning state judging device. This system further includes a counter-steering judging device capable of judging a counter-steering state of the vehicle and causing the turning state judging device to output an oversteering signal when the counter-steering state is judged. Thus, it is possible to reliably judge the oversteering and the understeering during turning of the vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: February 11, 1993Date of Patent: August 29, 1995Assignee: Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Tooru Ikeda, Naoki Ohmomo, Hironobu Kiryu, Takashi Nishihara, Shuji Shiraishi

Patent number: 5416832Abstract: A call detection control apparatus includes individual call detecting circuits, a common call detecting circuit, switching circuits, and a power supply circuit. The individual call detecting circuits individually detect call signals, which originate from telephone subscriber lines. The common call detecting circuit commonly detects call signals, which originate from the respective telephone subscriber lines. The switching circuits switch the respective telephone subscriber lines from the common call detecting circuit to the respective individual call detecting circuit when the common call detecting circuit detects an call signal from one of the respective telephone subscriber lines. The power supply circuit supplies operating power to each of the individual call detecting circuits upon interlocking with an operation of a corresponding one of the switching circuits.Type: GrantFiled: June 4, 1993Date of Patent: May 16, 1995Assignee: NEC CorporationInventors: Toshio Nitta, Toshikatsu Kobayashi, Takeshi Sasaki, Tooru Ikeda

Patent number: 5370199Abstract: In a traction control system for a vehicle which controls the traction of the driven wheels according to the slip ratio of the driven wheels obtained as a relationship between the vehicle speed and the speed of the driven wheels, the vehicle speed is obtained from the speed of the non-driven wheels. Normally, the average value of the speeds of the non-driven wheels is used as the basis for computing the vehicle speed, but when one of the non-driven wheels is likely to be lifted from the road surface due to the turning maneuver of the vehicle, the speed of one of the non-driven wheels which is higher than that of the other non-driven wheel and is therefore likely to be in contact with the road surface is used for fining the vehicle speed. Thus, the vehicle speed is simply obtained from the speed of the non-driven wheels, but the traction control can be reliably carried out according to a correctly obtained vehicle speed.Type: GrantFiled: April 6, 1993Date of Patent: December 6, 1994Assignee: Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Yoshimitsu Akuta, Tooru Ikeda, Takashi Nishihara
