    Abstract: The invention provides a spring rod for a strap. A stationary member with a projection is inserted and fixed at one end of a cylinder with a longitudinal slit. A slider is slidably inserted in the cylinder with a spring interposed between the slider and the stationary member. The slider has a projection which has a tongue protruding through the slit of the cylinder.
