  • Patent number: 5091954
Abstract: The present invention is concerned with a receiver device for converting electrical signal from a headphone, a telephone receiver or the like into acoustic signals. More particularly, it relates to a noise reducing receiver device in which acoustic signals in the vicinity of an electro-acoustic transducer element are converted by a microphone into electrical signals and negatively fed back to an amplifier circuit which is adapted for amplifying input electrical signals and supplying the amplified signals to the electro-acoustic transducer element. In the noise reducing receiver device, the input electrical signals are amplified by the amplifier circuit and converted by the electro-acoustic transducer element into output acoustic signals. A microphone is arranged in the vicinity of the electro-acoustic transducer element and adapted for converting the output acoustic signals and external noise into electrical signals, which are negatively fed back to the amplifier circuit via a feedback circuit.

  • Patent number: 5073886
Abstract: Provided is a signal reproducing circuit for an optical disc player including a multidivisional photodetector with photoelectric converting elements in a preceding side and photoelectric converting elements in a succeeding side relative to a proceeding direction of pits of an optical disc, a variable delay circuit for delaying outputs from the photoelectric converting elements in the preceding side, a circuit for detecting a time difference between an output from the photo electric converting elements in the succeeding side and an output from the variable delay circuit, and a circuit responsive to an output from the time difference detecting circuit for changing a delay time of the variable delaying circuit. The signal reproducing circuit further includes a circuit for amplifying and correcting high frequency components of signals reproduced by the photo detector in response to the output from the time difference detecting circuit.

  • Patent number: 5051964
Abstract: An apparatus and method for producing an output signal representing a sound pressure at a predetermined position wherein a first microphone is provided for producing a first output signal representing a sound pressure P.sub.0 at a first position; a second microphone is provided for producing a second output signal representing a sound pressure P.sub.1 at a second position; and a signal processing circuit is provided for producing the output signal based upon the first output signal and the second output signal; wherein the signal processing circuit is operative to produce the output signal proportional to: (i) a power function of the second output signal based on an exponent m corresponding to a distance between the first microphone and the predetermined position, multiplied by (ii) a power function of the first output signal based on an exponent representing a value obtained by subtracting at least the exponent m of the power function of the second output signal from 1.

  • Patent number: 4942314
Abstract: A peak holding circuit comprises a capacitor for holding signal charges corresponding to a peak level of an input signal, and a current amplifier circuit comprising transistors connected in a triple darlington manner for supplying an output current corresponding to the held charges. An emitter of a transistor in the first stage out of the transistors connected in a darlington manner is connected to a collector of another transistor through which a collector cut-off current flows which is approximately equal to a collector cut-off current flowing through the transistor in the first stage. The other transistor has its emitter connected to ground. Therefore, the collector cut-off current flowing through the transistor in the first stage is cancelled, so that fluctuations in output current can be prevented even if a large reactive current is not allowed to flow through a transistor in the final stage out of the transistors connected in a darlington manner.

  • Patent number: 4768172
Abstract: A memory cell comprises a memory which memorizes binary information in a static manner, a first delivery device which gives the binary information to a first bit line based on the potential of a first word line, and a second delivery device which gives the binary information memorized in the memory to a second word line different from the first word line, without forming a current path between the memory and a second bit line different from the first bit line.

  • Patent number: 4352295
Abstract: An instantaneous torque determining apparatus for obtaining the instantaneous torque value continuously of a shaft rotating at a high speed. The apparatus includes a pair of spaced gears mounted on the shaft, a torque detector having a pickup for each gear, a set of voltage comparators, a gate control circuit, an AND circuit, and a clock pulse generator. Further, the apparatus also includes a delay circuit for receiving pulses from a voltage comparator, a subtraction counter which receives a delayed pulse as a subtractor starting instruction, and a set of first and second ratio multipliers forming a counting circuit loop with the counter. First and second latch circuits store the counted value outputs and apply such outputs as an input to another counter and to a Digital-Analogue transducer. The pick-ups of the torque detectors are respectively arranged to face the gear to provide voltage signals in pulse form when the shaft rotates and each tooth of the gear passes in front of its respective pick-up.
