  • Publication number: 20200133633
Abstract: An arithmetic processing apparatus includes a selection circuit and an arithmetic circuit. The selection circuit outputs a specific bit of a fixed-point number when an instruction signal for converting a floating-point number to a fixed-point number is input, and outputs an exponent of the floating-point number when the instruction signal is not input; and the arithmetic circuit performs a predetermined arithmetic operation on the specific bit or the exponent output from the selection circuit.

  • Publication number: 20120030397
Abstract: An information processing system includes a memory, a controller that reads data from a device coupled thereto and writes the data on the memory, a bridge that couples a system bus and an input output bus, the system bus being coupled to the memory and the processor, the input output bus being coupled to the controller, a check code generator that generates a check code from the data read from the device, and a determining unit that determines whether a second check code generated from the data read from the memory corresponds with the first check code.

  • Publication number: 20080149083
Abstract: A plasma ignition system has an electromagnetic noise reduction circuit in addition to a discharge power circuit, a plasma generating power circuit, a plasma ignition plug, a discharging wire and a plasma generating wire. The noise reduction circuit includes a first rectifier connected to the discharging wire, a second rectifier connected to the plasma generating wire, and a noise reducing capacitor connected in parallel to the second rectifier. The noise reduction circuit is disposed close to the ignition plug so that the noise reducing capacitor bypasses only high frequency noise currents generated when the ignition plug discharges.

  • Publication number: 20080141967
Abstract: A plasma ignition device is provided with a plasma ignition plug having an insulation member to insulate a center electrode from a ground electrode, and electric power supply circuits to apply high voltages to the plasma ignition plug. The plasma ignition device activates the gas in a discharge space of the insulation member into the plasma of a high temperature and a high pressure by the high voltage applied between the center electrode and the ground electrode and injects the same into an internal combustion engine. The electric power supply circuits are connected to the center electrode as an anode and to the ground electrode as a cathode.

  • Patent number: 5764523
Abstract: In a method of calculating an electric power by digitalizing a voltage signal and a current signal of an electronic watt-hour meter and multiplying digitalized signals, precision of an electric power calculation is improved by a circuit arrangement suitable for use in an IC mainly composed of a digital circuit with a small analog scale. A voltage signal and a current signal are inputted into analog to digital conversion means composed of a sigma-delta modulation circuit and the like, respectively, and a moving average of outputs from the analog to digital conversion means is determined by moving average processing means as a low-pass filter and then voltages are multiplied by currents. An analog scale for sigma-delta modification is small. Additionally, the circuit arrangement is reduced by the employment of the low-pass filter due to the use of the moving average. Further, an electric power can be calculated with a high precision.
