    Abstract: A receiving device includes a circuit board having mutually opposite first and second surfaces, the circuit board including a tuner mounted on the second surface to receive a digital broadcasting signal, a decoder IC mounted on the first surface to convert an intermediate frequency signal output from the tuner into analog video and audio signals, and a power supply circuit mounted on the first surface to supply a power source voltage to the decoder IC via a power supply path, and a plurality of capacitors mounted on the circuit board and connected in parallel to the power supply path. The plurality of capacitors include first-group capacitors mounted on the first surface and second-group capacitors mounted on the second surface in an area of the circuit board defined by an orthogonal projection of the decoder IC on the first surface onto the second surface.

    Abstract: An electrostatic discharge protection structure of an electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device includes an electrically insulating panel and an electrically insulating operation member fitted with respect to an opening of the panel. The operation member includes an operation member main body, a flange extending from the operation member main body, and a groove formed along a peripheral surface of the operation member main body in a face of the flange opposing the panel. The panel includes an enclosing rib along the edge of the opening on a back face thereof. The operation member is configured such that the operation member main body is fitted with respect to the inner side of the enclosing rib of the panel, and the groove is fitted with respect to the enclosing rib of the panel.
