  • Publication number: 20070269418
Abstract: The invention relates to the use of a composition for the preparation of a hair growth inhibitor and furthermore to the use of a system for the preparation of a hair growth inhibitor. The invention also relates to a composition comprising at least one enzyme, a solvent, and a water activity reducing agent. Moreover, the invention concerns a system for hair growth inhibition comprising a first component and a second component, wherein the first composition of the first component comprises at least one enzyme, a solvent and a water activity reducing agent, and wherein the second composition of the second component comprises an enzyme-activating agent and/or a anti-inflammatory, penetration-promoting agent and/or a preservative agent. The invention in addition relates to a method for inhibiting hair growth and a method for the preparation of a hair growth inhibitor.

  • Publication number: 20060233781
Abstract: The invention relates to an antimicrobial composition for local use on mucosal membranes and skin. The antimicrobial composition comprises a system of lysozyme and glycosylated immunoglobulins. The glycosylated immunoglobulins have affinity towards gram negative and gram positive bacteria and viruses. Moreover, the invention concerns the method of preparation of said composition as well as use of the composition for the treatment and/or prevention of infections. The present invention further concerns and antimicrobial composition, comprising lysozyme conjugated to a monosaccharide. The method of preparation of said composition as well as use of the composition for the treatment and/or prevention of infections is also described.

  • Publication number: 20060034455
Abstract: A data input is divided into two segments; the second segment is also divided into groups. Bits in the first segment are used to control the application of permutation functions to bit groups in the second segment. The transformed data is assembled from the first segment and the permuted groups of the second segment. This data transformation can be applied in combination with a key derivation algorithm, a key wrapping algorithm, or an encryption algorithm to enhance the security of these other applications.

  • Publication number: 20060034457
Abstract: Key derivation algorithms are disclosed. In one key derivation application, a segment of the master key is hashed. Two numbers of derived from another segment of the master key. A universal hash function, using the two numbers, is applied to the result of the hash, from which bits are selected as the derived key. In another embodiment, an encoded counter is combined with segments of the master key. The result is then hashed, from which bits are selected as the derived key.

  • Publication number: 20060034454
Abstract: A data input is divided into two segments. The second segment is raised to a power of a function of the first segment, the power being relatively prime to a function of a predefined modulus. The modulus is then applied to the result. The transformed data is assembled from the first segment and the remainder modulo the modulus. This data transformation can be applied in combination with a key derivation algorithm, a key wrapping algorithm, or an encryption algorithm to enhance the security of these other applications.

  • Patent number: 6269604
Abstract: A roof cladding panel is profiled in its longitudinal direction and stepped in its transverse direction and comprises two straight side edges (4, 5) which are connectable to adjacent panels, a lower edge (2) which is generally wave-shaped and connectable to an adjacent panel, and an upper edge (3) which preferably is straight and connectable to an adjacent panel. Two diagonally opposite corners (8, 9) of the panel are obliquely cut, and an upper cut corner of one panel is adapted to be matchingly assembled with a lower cut corner of another panel in a four-corner joint including also non-cut corners of a third and a fourth roof cladding panel.

  • Patent number: 5927369
Abstract: A lift gate has elements which extend across the gate in its entire width. The elements are positioned vertically above each other, and are interconnected on their rear sides by hinges countersunk with respect to the rear side. The elements are guided in a pair of substantially vertical tracks along the sides of the gate. The tracks are bent at the upper edge of the gate in an approximately horizontal direction toward the rear side of the gate. The elements have a cross-sectionally tooth-shaped projection along their upper edge, and a corresponding depression along their lower edge. The depression accommodates the projection of an adjoining element. A cutting plane extends perpendicular to the element and through the hinge axis, and cuts a profile section which, in cross-section, approximately forms a triangle having a front flank and a rear flank, and which, when the gate is closed, extends from the lower edge of the overlying element upwards toward the vertex of the triangle.
