  • Patent number: 8621493
Abstract: A business programming library for use by an enterprise resource planning system provides a run-time environment and a library of API services for accessing common data types and business methods, accessing table and form meta-data, and database administration and retrieval/modification. • Publication number: 20130086037
Abstract: A reusable ERP data retrieval object, in particular, a wide application query object provides a systematic and standardized approach to data retrieval. In one embodiment, the wide application query object is an encapsulated query object in that multiple queries are aggregated into one master query object (i.e., the wide application query object) that can, but does not necessarily have to, span multiple disparate data sources. In another embodiment, data retrieved in accordance with the wide application query logic is manipulated by code in any of a variety of different ways using a trigger model and specialized constructs. In still another embodiment, public parameters are utilized to trigger functions that impact the substance and layout of the query output.

  • Patent number: 7873902
Abstract: A method of transforming reports from one version of software to another version is disclosed. The method exports existing report objects in an existing first version report into XML format to a transformation tool and then to a layout transformation tool. An XML object is created and is imported into a report in the second version.

  • Publication number: 20100306010
Abstract: A diagramming system for dynamically generating and rendering a diagram depicting graphical representations of modules and elements of an ERP application, and their dependencies, is provided. In some embodiments, the diagramming system provides a dynamic, interactive graphical representation of user-selected elements and/or modules and their dependencies. In some embodiments, the diagramming system allows a user to view additional information about a specific element, such as the dependencies associated with that element that are not displayed in the diagram and also to select these elements for inclusion in the diagram. In this manner, the user can customize the diagram to show additional dependency information for a specific element or set of elements in which the user is interested. In some embodiments, the diagramming system may display an indication of dependencies between the selected element and the modules.
