Abstract: The invention relates to a device for peeling or shaping products such as potatoes comprising a frame, at least a first and a second grinding roller rotationally supported by the frame, at least one of the rollers comprising a grinding surface intended to contact the product during peeling or shaping, and a driving device for rotating the grinding rollers the first grinding roller comprising a substantially cylindrical body provided with axially adjacent peripheral grooves. To be able to make products of varying sizes with the same device, the device comprises means for adjusting the distance between said first and second grinding roller. The second grinding roller comprises a substantially cylindrical body provided with axially adjacent protrusions, which at least partly extend into the grooves when the distance between said first and second grinding roller is minimized.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a peeling element having an elongated shape and being attached to a mechanism for rotating the peeling element around a rotation axis and includes peeling arrangements on an outer surface. To allow a product to be peeled with a single peeling device, on a first part of the peeling element, the outer surface includes a rough scraping surface, and on a second part of the peeling element, the outer surface includes at least one cutting surface.
