  • Publication number: 20080252453
Abstract: A method for monitoring the presence of a monitored item. A poll signal is transmitted from a monitoring device arranged in a mobile telephone or similar, to a carrier device arranged on the monitored item. The poll signal has predetermined characteristics identifying the monitoring device and the carrier device. A response signal is transmitted from the carrier device to the monitoring device in response to the poll signal the response signal enables the monitoring device to identify and determine the position of the carrier device. Action is taken if it is determined that the distance between the monitoring device and the carrier device is greater than a predetermined threshold distance. Theft or loss of valuable items can be detected if they are provided with carrier devices according to the present invention.

  • Publication number: 20070201672
Abstract: Communication devices, such a telephones, are connected to one another so that they are reachable by at least a first identity. Each communication device is programmable to let through only identities that are stored. For example, this could mean that only one of many devices permits the identity to go through. In this way, the contact attempt is selectively permitted to go through to only certain devices in a group of devices that all have at least one common identity. The system may be used for telephoning, IP-communication and other digital signaling security solutions.

  • Publication number: 20060072731
Abstract: Method and system for reachability via time controls to a selective register. This is achieved by the fact that the identity of the calling number from other subscribers to the first subscriber, that via time controls are permitted to be forwarded to a register that corresponds to the identity of the number of the caller, and can according to the invention provide selective messages in an unlimited amount to the call and selectively forward subscribers to selective registers. The time control is a first function that the caller is encountering. Via the time control the identity of the caller can lead to ranked registers such as message registers at a first level and thereafter to other selected registers that corresponds to the identity of the caller. As a last function the call may be let through to the first subscriber assuming that the time control is so arranged.

  • Publication number: 20060046814
Abstract: The method of playing a card game and includes randomly associating cards from a first virtual deck of cards with a set of numbers of a card selecting section (12) so that each number is associated with a different card. A predetermined number of numbers is selected and cards are displayed face down in a first card display (40). A first player activates a confirm command (28) to display faces of a first poker hand (56). The first player submits a first bet to a first pot of a first game. The method also includes randomly associating cards from a second virtual deck of cards with a set of numbers of the card-selecting section (12). A predetermined number of numbers is selected by a second player from the card-selecting section (12) associated with a second virtual deck of cards. The cards are displayed and the second player activates the confirm command (28) to display faces of the second poker hand. The second player submits a second bet to the first pot of the first game.
