Abstract: A display list with slot instructions is provided to interface between platform software and a display engine. A display list interface is created for each frame of image data that is to be updated and displayed on a display. In some circumstances, the display list may be reused for subsequent frames, for example, when generating a stream of video images for a video mode display showing a static image. A display list may be part of the interface between a software driver and a scalable display engine architecture that has multiple repetitive processing blocks enabling the same or multiple frames to be processed in parallel to produce update frames for one or more display devices.

Abstract: A stopping apparatus is suspended in a pilot shaft and blasting charge holes are drilled outwardly and downwardly from successive vertical positions from the bottom to the top of the pilot shaft to provide a circular array of holes fanned-out from each vertical position. The blasting charge holes are loaded with blasting charges, and detonated, proceeding from the bottom to the top of the pilot shaft.

Abstract: A blasting cap is detonated to convey a shock wave to thereby initiate the explosion of an explosive charge by means of a remotely operable pressurized fluid operated blasting cap detonating device including a fluid pressure operating piston, a compression spring operable to absorb energy from the piston, and a striking pin operable for release by engagement thereof by the piston and then operable for final movement in response to force from the compression spring.

Abstract: The valve is adapted to close against the force of a bias spring in response to a substantial increase in the pressure drop through restricted by-pass passages in the valve when a hose is ruptured on the outlet side of the valve. The restriction of the by-pass passages is adjustable by rotation of an internal adjustment ring to thereby determine the flow rate at which the valve is actuated.
