Abstract: A package for a product includes a base plate on which the product is disposed, and a bridge disposed on the base plate in overlying relationship to a first portion of the product. A lid is disposed in overlying relationship to a second portion of the product and is secured to the base plate by a sliding connection which guides the lid for limited sliding movement parallel to the base plate to expose the second portion of the product. The sliding connection constrains the lid against dislodgment from the base plate in a direction perpendicular to the base plate. An intermediate plate is disposed between the base plate and the lid and is arranged to prevent the sliding movement of the lid. The intermediate plate is formed of a tearable material, such as cardboard, wherein tearing of the intermediate plate releases the lid for the sliding movement.

Abstract: Package for elongated products, comprising a base plate (11) of strong elastic material, an intermediate plate (21) of a low strength material and a lid (31) of strong material, where one or more products are originally enclosed in the package by pressing the lid against the intermediate and base plates, and where the intermediate plate prevents displacement of the lid. The package is opened by tearing the intermediate plate apart and away, making the lid displaceable relative to the base plate, thereby permitting opening and closing of the package.

Abstract: The invention relates to a packaging for a tool with sharp edge, said packaging comprising a suspension device (3). The packaging also comprises a protective sheath (1) and means for supporting the tool (2) in different positions on the sheath, including a first position adapted for sales exposure in which at least a major part of the tool is free of the sheath and exposed for inspection by a prospective buyer, and a second position in which the tool is inserted in the sheath and ready to be handled by a user.

Abstract: A securing arrangement for releasably connecting two items comprises two elements. One of the elements is provided with hole with one wide section and one narrower section. The other element is provided with a peg opposite to and facing into the narrower hole section. The other item has a horseshoe-shaped protrusion with an inner waist and an outer collar, both of which has a lateral opening. To connect the items, the horseshoe-shaped protrusion with its collar is inserted laterally through the wide section of the hole with the lateral opening oriented towards the peg, and then longitudinally moved from the wide section into the narrower section to let the horseshoe-shaped protrusion enclose the peg. The items are secured by rotating relative to each other.

Abstract: Package for an elongated tool, comprising a frame with two longitudinal sides (12), a first cross-bar (13) with centering support (15) for a first end of the tool, a second cross-bar (14) with a hole (17) through which the second end of the tool can be pushed, two extensions (18) of the sides at the second cross-bar, and a separate retainer (19) which can be moved along the extensions towards the second cross-bar (14) when the tool has been placed in the package a first time, and moved in both directions after a seal cross-piece (24) of the retainer (19) has been broken or removed.
