    Abstract: A method performed by a radio node for determining the presence of a repeater repeating a signal related to positioning or synchronization in a wireless communications network is provided. The radio node obtains a respective first characteristic for one or more received signals. The first characteristic is related to parameters associated to multipath indications. The radio node determines the presence of the repeater by detecting an anomaly based on the respective first characteristic.

    Abstract: A method performed by a network node, a User Equipment (UE), or both, for determining reliability of positions of the UE in a wireless communications network is provided. The method performed by the network node includes obtaining a first position of the UE, obtaining a second position of the UE, and determining whether or not the first position and the second position of the UE are reliable based on comparing of the first position and the second position. The comparison includes determining that the first position and the second position of the UE are reliable when the difference between the first position and the second position is below a first threshold, and determining that the first position and the second position of the UE are not reliable when the difference between the first position and the second position is above a second threshold.

    Abstract: There is provided mechanisms for orientation determination of a wireless device with respect to a first coordinate system. A method is performed by a control unit. The method comprises obtaining first angular measurements of the wireless device at a first access node and second angular measurements of the first access node at the wireless device. The first access node is oriented in the first coordinate system. The wireless device is oriented in a second coordinate system. The method comprises determining, by aligning the second angular measurements with the first angular measurements, an amount of rotation of the second coordinate system with respect to the first coordinate system. The orientation of the wireless device with respect to the first coordinate system is defined by the amount of the rotation.

    Abstract: There is provided mechanisms for position determination of a wireless device. A method is performed by a network node. The method comprises estimating a respective angle-of-arrival value for each of at least three ID antenna arrays from measured phase differences between antenna elements per ID antenna array for a signal communicated between the wireless device and the at least three ID antenna arrays. The antenna elements of each ID antenna array are arranged along a respective line. At least two of the lines are non-coincident with respect to each other. The method comprises determining the position of the wireless device by combining the angle-of-arrival values from the at least three ID antenna arrays.
