Abstract: A device and method for spreading a fibre bundle spread, the fibre bundle being from a fibre bundle supply to a fibre take-up by way of a resistance device, having a first impulse drive that interacts with the resistance device, the fibre take-up being disposed downstream of the resistance device. The fibre bundle by means of the impulse drive during spreading is superimposed in an alternating manner in predefined sequences with an additional speed component in the conveying direction of the fibre bundle and/or with an additional speed component counter to the conveying direction.

Abstract: Described are a device and a method for spreading a fibre bundle. In the case of the device, the fibre bundle is fed from a fibre bundle supply to a fibre consumer 5 by way of a resistance 3, having a first impulse drive 4.1 that interacts with said resistance 3, said fibre consumer 5 being disposed downstream of said resistance 3. The fibre bundle 1 by means of the impulse drive 4.1 during spreading is impingeable in an alternating manner in predefinable sequences with an additional speed component in the conveying direction of said fibre bundle and/or with an additional speed component counter to the conveying direction.
